Rams paid Tavon Austin 42 mill LMAO

He didn't even have 500 yards receiving last year

Even if you add all his yardage together it's still pretty mediocre for an all purpose player.

I haven't watched the Rams play recently, but I remember in his rookie season how he was criminally underutilized. Put the ball in his hands, preferably in space, and he can make big plays happen. With Gurley being the main subject of defensive gameplanning, the Rams should find creative ways to get Tavon in space to make big plays.

I watched him play for WVU, and as good as Noel Devine was (and as many big plays as he had), I rate Tavon Austin just ahead of him in skill and playmaking ability. That's how good he is if you just give him the phucking ball (granted he played in a better, more creative offense, but still).

    Wait....he's ahead of NOEL DEVINE?!?

How the hell did the Rams manage to lock him up for only 42 million?!

The biggest knocks against Noel Devine were his lack of top-end speed and his tendency to try to force straight-line plays (he had more success when using his agility in space), which limited his potential at the professional level. His agility and acceleration were unquestionably good, but Tavon has those as well as the top-end speed that puts him over the top as a playmaking threat.

Dri Archer was unstoppable in college doesn't mean much now.

Austin is very limited as a receiver
