Started cut and lost bodyfat immediately...

I finished a pathetic attempt at a bulk and was at 160lbs at 20% body fat before starting a cut last week. However, weighed myself in the morning as I usually do and I'm 155lbs at 18.7%. I'm sure that the majority is water weight as I'm only cutting at a 500 cal deficit. I weighed myself with one of those electronic scales with those sensors. Is it most likely that the water weight put on from bulking contributed that extra 1.3% of body fat? Or am I still at 20% body fat? I know it's a retarded and confusing question to ask but what do you think?

9/10 those scales aren't too accurate for BF measurements, go get a real one done now and then a month later to show your progress

Yep...completely disregard any BF% readings you get from a scale, and go by what you see in the mirror.

My scales read 24% whereas a 7-point caliper test comes out at 16.5%. Do not believe the scales and persevere with your cut. Post pictures if you can.
