Hair color isn't an indication of race. Human hair regardless can change in color and texture after death especially if certain chemicals such as preservatives have been put in it. It often turns red which is the hair color I've heard of mummies having not Blonde.

This is debatable and there is no absolute proof that they were "African". You can find sources that say Cleopatra was of Greek and Persian origin.

Africa is huge and a very diverse continent. Ancient Egyptians were the people from the so called Cauasian race. Today, people abuse the term by refering it to the white people but according to historians and anthropologist, Cauasians also refer to the people from the North east Africa (including Egypt, North Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, ****lia and Ethiopia).

Ancient Egypt was a melting pot, due to its geographic location. Also, after the Nubians invaded from the south, the civilization became even more mixed. Lol look at art from that period, the population was pretty diverse. Still wrong, the term Dravidian refers to all speakers of the language just as Hispanic refers to Spanish speakers. The only genetic implication of the demographic is a high likelyhood of being mixed North Indian and South Indian, the Northern Indians having been genetically similar to Western Eurasians at the time. There is no genetic research that supports the bull**** that you and pinwheels spout. You link a source that relies on conjecture and misconstruing genetic traits for self affirmation as opposed to demonstrating a timeline followed up with anthropological perspective to track the movement and distribution of traits over time. A highly recessive gene does not take hold in a large enough proportion of a population to eliminate a dominate trait, in this case, dark skin. The "white" people of Europe 4,500 years ago still had darker skin on average than the natives of today, their skin tone lightened with time due to environmental pressure.

The Ancient Egyptians certainly weren't black in the sense that Sub-Saharan Africans are. The Sub-Saharan Nubians were depicted in artwork by the Egyptians showing distinctly darker skin than the Egyptians had. Furthermore in the later stages of Ancient Egypt during the Ptolemaic dynasty there was a greater blending of cultural influences from Greece, Rome and other places that led to more diversification of people.

To answer OP:

Egyptians were a native race of people to the land surrounding the nile, research points to them being genetically and phenotypically closest to berber people, i.e north africans. they are not (or were not) semetic people (arabs, jews, ect) and they were not european people (greek, russian, british, ect) and they also weren't african (from sub-saharan africa) they describe blacks as being darker and with different facial features and the blacks occupied the kingdom of nubia that warred with Egypt. There were however, many Egyptians who were black in the early dynasties but this of course is an exception not a rule.

The closest you can call them of "white" "black" or "arab" trifecta is probably closer to arabs and blacks and furthest from white (but Phoenician people do have nods to med people who are european and white).


TL;DR they aren't whites, whites didn't even exist during the founding of Egypt, they weren't black either because blacks have negroid facial features and skulls and they arent semetic/arab either.
