I already felt better by this morning, still a bit of it, but it seems to be getting better fast. It's only 3 days of antibiotics, so it should be quick to resolve.
What... my brain just melted.
Upper work today. I think I'm going to change up my plans a bit, I want to subtract from my accessory work, and increase shoulder work. I'll still do my low rep-high weight bi and tri exercises, but my other upper day will have a bit more shoulder/upper back work. I want my shoulders to pop a bit more over my bis/tris so I want to give them a bit more love (plus the arms still get worked in other exercises).
Going to be trying that out today, and we'll see how it goes.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Holy crap that felt good. Finally got 62lbs on OHP for the first time in awhile, didn't think I would, it was grindy. Played with Hobbes ramp up, then drop down for amrap thing, I like it. Did that thing where you do a front raise with one arm, and a lat raise with the other, then switch each rep. They were harder than I thought, but I had such a pump after that. My rows are lower than before, but I'm happier with them. My form was great, I really felt the movements, and my muscles. I tend to rush into thinking I should move more weight just because I can, but it doesn't always mean I'm doing it well. I'm hoping saving the explosive stuff for my 1-5 rep work, and focusing on solid form, and MMC for hypertrophy stuff will prevent getting so many twingy things.
That said, I weighed in today because next week I'll be bumping up to the 2000-2100 range which should be about maintenance. So with the cut officially ending, I wanted to get my weight, and measurements. I actually managed to get under 141 which was my goal, 140.8 to be exact, but it counts to me. So I feel a lot better moving forward, it was a little thing, but it's a little thing that's not on my mind anymore.
Fantastic workout, happy with my weigh in, excited to move into bulking, buffalo chicken pizza for dinner, solid Friday.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Well, my first cut goal was a bit less (wiggle room for that initial weight gain.. or holiday weight gain, or whatever it ended up being lol). Though gaining almost all the weight I cut at first in the span of a month (it was about 10lbs, surely some water, but damn), kinda made that less realistic. Those last 6 pounds would have taken a couple months alone, let lone tossing my whole cut on top of it.
It's good enough though, I've got muscle to build, and I'll look even better next time I'm this weight.
Plus it's more of a learning experience (it always is), like more of an experiment in really learning to manage calories during a bulk, even when I'm not home all day preparing everything until dinner.
Food: trying to keep my gains slower, manage my higher calorie things better, spacing out proteins well.
Workouts: Seeing how I respond to more frequency on legs, more shoulder work/less arm isolation, and more volume (mostly means more sets since I don't have a ton of exercise variety). I've heard here, and a few other places that women respond well to more volume, so I'm going to test that out.
So even if I gain too much, or somehow stay too cautious, hopefully I'll have learned more about what works best for me.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Yay for all of it. I haven't done OHP in a while. One thing that isn't involved in this program though probably for good since bench every single day. The raises seem interesting and would take a bit to get used to too for me with the coordinating the movements. That pizza sounds fabulous. You just keep giving things to envy. ;-)

I have to do seated, because ceiling limitations. Don't know if I'd do better standing, but I know it'd be worlds better than unracking, trying to sit, then pressing. >.<
I do what I can though.
The raises are fun, and you get used to it quick, just not sure if I want to keep them together, or separate them into two exercises. I keep forgetting pinky up on lat raises (better activation), and I'm not sure if that works with front raises the same way. Otherwise I'd have to remember to twist on eat one, and that would be hard for me to get the hang of, lol.
Pizza was fabulous.
Now if I just get some Chinese take out (chicken and broc****) my cravings will be satisfied.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Deadlifts slooooowly moving up. Still getting some lightheadedness, boo, but getting better each week. Four sets of front squats was death, probably could've gotten a few more reps on the lowered set, but I banged out the first half pretty fast.
BSS, sigh, these things are so frustrating, I hate setting up with a passion. May stick with DBs (40lbs) for now because at least that felt a bit better form-wise. For some reason, though my plates have handle-like slots, they were super awkward to work with.
Short treadmill session, started later than I wanted to... also may have spent too much time before hand dancing instead of just warming up, and getting started. >.<

Post: Painful rolling, stretching, and 15min on treadmill.
Cardio videos ended up being people opening Buff Boxxes, because I want them, but I'm poor, so I live through others. Lol. Great way to find "undiscovered" fitness channels that fly under the rader though, Ananda. Might find more variety.
Anyway, this workout was pretty great. Must be the calories, because I feel so good about workouts again, I'm excited for them, I get into them, I'm not dragging ass, or going through the motions. So happy to feel that way, because I was really starting to worry I was going to stop enjoying it, and have to force myself through it forever. No more dragged out cuts, If I ever struggle cutting that long again, I'll take a maintenance break for a month.
Not so good though, stomach pain, I think. Didn't start until after breakfast, and it's a new, weird, sharp pain. I have acid reflux issues, my dad's side has a history of them, and he's had an ulcer, so it makes me a bit paranoid. Good thing I eat so much salsa, and spicy foods, right? -_-
Going to keep an eye on it though, and as soon as it starts next time I'll take my acid reducer, and if that works, I'll have to go on a 24-hour based one for awhile, watch my diet, etc. I already know the drill... and it sucks. Still killed the workout despite that though, if it's not one thing it's another, but I am on a roll when it comes to this chit. lol.
In one week, I may be a licensed driver. Yeah, I know, I was trying not to think about it, but I think I had some hormonal anxiety that passed, so I'm feeling a bit more excited. Still trying not to over think it, like, imagining the test itself. Just excited that the wait will be over, and it's impossible not to think about when it's basically a countdown.
Though Jay wants to practice this weekend, I don't do practice. Since the beginning, I've said driving with the intention to practice makes me anxious. I do best when I'm driving to drive, ie. getting from a to b. If he works we can't, but then he might want to right before the test (there's time between my brother's test, and mine), and that's too much pressure.
Guess I'll figure it out hen the time comes. In the meantime, I get my RSP BioVite multivitamins today (love their promo method I get to track). Also I made roasted chickpeas, and they're yummy. Went for spicy this time, little less cook time, a little more time before adding the spices,a nd it'll be perfect.
Next time I want to toss them in honey instead of olive oil, and do cinnamon and sugar. Oh, or I can do a maple and brown sugar version sometime. They're so versatile, and quick to grab. Love them. Jay liked them too, even better.
Sorry for the long post, a lot of rambling. >.<PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Yay for a great workout!!!
Aw, man. I was catching up and going to say "glad you're feeling better", but then it became "glad you're feeling better except for the new thing". Ugh. Hope the stomach pain clears up fast, too!
You're going to do great on the road test! Just breathe and drive, I am confident that you know how to do both of those things

Thanks, and yeah, it could also be my colon/large intestine just acting up for fun. I'm sure it'll be fine, just aware of mine, and my family's health histories so I can be aware of potential things without being a hypochondriac. lol.
Thanks for the encouragement! Pretty sure I can drive, just a newb when it comes to breathing.
I think my anxiety will depend a lot on the instructor. I do have the advantage of meeting them beforehand when my brother does his, but my anxiety has a thing with only certain men, that will set it off for no good reason. Not that I won't be taking my meds ahead of time anyway, but still. I just hope they come off nice, so that's not even an issue, and I can just manage whatever nerves are already there. It's just ten minutes tops, so it's really no time at all.

I'm having cereal right now, cereal. It's been so long, because I couldn't fit it into my macros pre-dinner, because that's when I needed to get most of my protein. Froot Loops with marshmallows. :3
I had a couple hundred cals, and wanted some pineapple juice, but that's only 100 per can, and this does the trick.
So much joy.

"Sound" good? Have you not tried them? I didn't like hummus at all, but roasted chickpeas are bomb. Good source of fiber, and a little protein too.
Protip though: If you give them a go, spray the sheet, and cook them awhile first, then do the olive oil and seasonings until close to the end so the seasonings don't burn too much.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

I hear ya. I'm okay at makeup, used to think I was good and then I see her skills and holy crap! She's not even close to haggish as the misc was making her out to be, it's the faces she makes mostly, she looks like a normal person when she's not in one extreme or the other but skills she has! She's an artist and I think that's her main gig, but I might watch her makeup tutorial soon

Yeah I just watched a vlog with her working on her art, and daaamn. I get so envious of that chit.
Misc just chits on everyone lol, you're a hag or a soot, no winners. lol.
That's an issue too. I can barely afford to keep up with the products I use. Amazon has been great in finding cheaper make up though, wouldn't use it for foundation, but a few bucks for a new lip color, or eyeshadow isn't a big loss if it's bad. Great way to find cheap dupes of popular stuff. I just be sure to check for good reviews first.
This.
Lol'd so hard. >.< omg.
I keep thinking I need to practice at least with what I have, I have a couple eyeshadow palates, and use like the same three colors. lol. Makes for a quick routine, but I'd like to know how to do nicer stuff for special occasions, and whatnot. Or I'll just keep slowly building a collection I'll use 1/2382th of.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Those pulses were so burny it hurt to try to sit up. Since I had the clock for timing my bridges, I figured I'd time my pauses too. Wow, did it make a difference. All of my good mornings were good, and low, so being consistent with stretching must finally be having a pay off.
Short cardio session, I had food to make afterwards, and I still have clothes to wash, and stuff. Gotta get it done before my dad's lunch break so I'm not all up in the kitchen in the way.
Know how I said I was going to make honey roasted cinnamon chickpeas? I did. They're fluffin BOMB. You want them, but they're mine, so nana-nana boo-boo. :P They're like a cinnamon cereal, but with more fiber and protein, and just better.
Oh, and don't think I mentioned it yet, but my RSP BioVites came in yesterday, and yous guys know I've been talking about getting a multivitamin to fill up gaps I likely have from my grocery attainability issues. For the record, the file name for that as because I don't rename pictures, I just replace them. Needed to reference a pic from someone on that show, and it just keeps the name will getting saved over with other pics. >.<
Thanks, you guys are all seriously great. Going to make a note to think to myself beforehand of all the peeps rooting for me. Keeping an eye on the weather for that day, says PM showers right now, which I'm ok with, just no AM bullchit. lol. Probably change fifty times by then anyway.
+1 on that other drivers comment. I swear I've seen so many people where I think "fluff's sake, even I drive better than this azzhole." Or when you're on a little back road, and you're almost off of it because some c*nt won't move over (yay, my first road rage when I wasn't a passenger, lol).
Everyone say's it's easier than people think, so I hope it is. Sounds like as long as you just drive, and don't hit anything you're alright. lol.
I'm confident.
