Making a squat rack?? Can't wait to see the pics!My journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159386641
2018 goals:
Lift more than I did in 2017, which won't be hard because I haven't lifted much since March 2017
Build back the muscle I lost while I went through a "I hate lifting" phase
Love lifting again

Yay!
I feel like people just can't read, lol.
Yeah I tried not to get it in my mouth, though it got basically everywhere else. Did make sure to get it all off though. Only real injury is a blister that I got on the inside of my thumb from mixing, which popped and peeled and is now just an open sore right next to where I grip the bar. O.O
I mostly hide here in the female BB, the promo thread was one of the few times I've ventured out, lol.
I do glute bridges with my upper back on my treadmill, so it's not as high as on a bench like people do with thrusts, but it keeps the bar from trying to roll down to your chin. I don't know if that makes it easier, they still feel plenty brutal.
Yay, and thanks.
Welcome. If we exceed Pokemon Go in epicness, I'll be pretty impressed.
I can't do pics. T_T My camera does this thing where it turns on in it's case, gets stuck halfway, and the battery dies so I cant turn it on long enough to fix it, nor will it charge the way it is. I had to get a second battery to fix it last time, which is also dead. Getting a third isn't high up on my priority list at the moment. I may just get a new camera at some point since mine's kinda chitty anyway.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Didn't log yesterday's workout because I was being lazy, and didn't want to grab my notebook, lol. There is is though, got to do lat pulldowns but also got stuck with the chest press that's more like a flye, and sucks for that reason. >.< At least my shoulder wasn't being funky, so I managed to do all sets with higher weight.
So on top of the Champion Performance promo, I also won the Tru Grit promo! It's not required to do a full log, just a review, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do both. I figure I can try it, and review it when it shows up, then save the rest for after I'm out of the CP stuff. Looking forward to giving all these supps a test drive, and I'll remember to link all reviews.
BB is bugging me for measurements today so I guess I'll get that done at some point. It annoys me having the red dot up there all the time.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Wahhooooo! Now you're being a free supp whore like me If only you were comfortable videoing yourself, you could have won the second Champion PWP promo too. I know you could have held your plank longer than me. I feel like someone who is hogging all the cookies

No, I didn't forget to log the rest, lol. I was doing alright despite shark week making me slow to start, but my back wasn't having deadlifts today. Tried 127, couldn't lock it out, dropped to 117, and got in three, but decided not to push it. I've neglected my stretches for a few days so I'll get back on it today, and hopefully have a better session Friday.
Also, yeah still on the hack squats. Still gotta drag the posts upstairs (probably literally drag, lol), and get the hooks in, but I was taking too long to get to my workout in as it was.
It bugs me to leave it, mostly because I don't know if I have new alerts or messages. Not that I get them often, but when I do I like to know. Besides, I'm glad I did. I was feeling kinda chubbs because I gained a lot more than I intended too at the start of my bulk, and my scale's unreliable as it is. Only gained in two places, .5 on shoulders, and .5 on thighs, everything else (including waist) has stayed the same. I guess my head was seeing things that aren't there, lol. Amazing how a little perspective goes a long way, and yay for shoulder gains!
I dunno, my planks are pretty chit. lol.
I feel the same way though, and there's probably people who've done so many more than I ever will.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Hey, these guys give this stuff away, and some of it is really easy to get. I mean, I won that Champion protein challenge with a just over a minute plank. That means no chicks were trying!

Great job on that upper workout Luna! I could never figure out Pendlay rows, I feel like a retarded frog doing those.
GET RID OF THE RED DOTS, AHHHH!!! That's like those stupid red circles on my phone that show unread texts/calls/email. I can not move forward with my day until those stupid circles are gone. Looks so messy and willy-nilly. What kind of maniac created that system? And RED, red should be reserved for emergencies only, not because I have an unread text from Potato McGee.Current PRs:

Lol, it took me awhile to get the hang of it, and for awhile I didn't even have my grip in the right place. lol. When you can't do face pulls though it's a great way to hit the rear delts.
Exactly, it's just sitting there all "look at me! LOOOOK!" so it's gotta go. lol
Eww, just when planks are gross enough, you add challenge to it, and I feel sick just reading it. ;P

Not a big fan of ketchup, now I dislike the red dots more because they'll make me think of ketchup.
So I just found out this was a thing: Link.
I want one! I only use my shaker for preworkout and creatine anymore, and it's a high price when you consider the separate cost of rechargeable batteries, but I want it anyway. lol.
They say protein powders taste different/better when blended instead of shaken. Anyone know if that's true? If so, why?PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Then I hope they call someone who has more than a fire extinguisher, a hammer, and gps at their disposal as far as life-saving tools.
What, no way. All that's happening with the powder is it's getting dissolved in water, there aren't different levels of how "dissolved" something can be. I guess if somebody is having issue with protein clumping this would be easier than shaking it with your arm furiously. The ON Protein I always get dissolves within a few seconds.Current PRs:

Isn't that what solubility is?
J/K I know what you mean but your phrasing was funny.
IMO, solubility would affect the taste because if it's clumping, then the flavor isn't evenly dispersed, which would affect how it tastes. Clumpy protein shakes = parts of it taste strong and other parts are more watery, which is why protein shakes should only be made in blendersYou can't help the hopeless.

Lol good point. I dunno man, some people get all fancy pants with their protein shakes and add stuff like milk and magical penguin farts. I take plain water, dump in protein, shake for 5 sec, drink, done. Never had whey clump up on me. Once it touches the water BOOM it turns to liquid and there's no turning back.

Right? What a time to be alive!
Didn't know that, that's cool. I don't have a blender though. T_T (I know, it's just sad, isn't it?)
I asked my boyfriend what he thought, because he's used both and he said he likes a blender better because of shaker clumping. He uses more protein powder though which I could see being an issue.
Hmm, I don't see preworkout being a clumping issue in a shaker or blender so I wonder why that is. Well, I guess it can still not dissolve as well.
Eww, I can't drink protein powder with water. I have to use milk, otherwise I just don't like the taste at all. Never had an issues with clumping in my shaker though (Smart Shake kind, with the grid thing instead of a ball). Not that I've had the chance to compare it to using a blender, but it generally dissolves really well, even with a fork. EAS whey anyway, that Pure Protein stuff has the consistency of flour, and I hate it.
Not a big shake drinker anyway, once in awhile is fine, but I get tired of it fast. I find it easier to throw it with oatmeal, ice cream, or french toast (which was breakfast this morning, and absolutely amazing. ).PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs
