I read they didnt think Quick was 100% and didnt want to rush him back to quickly. If you were worried your starter might not be 100% who would you rather have as the back up Budaj or Bishop? Budaj has played well in Quick's absence but Bishop is by far the better or the two
Blues Hockey is life! I live for pain and disappointment.

??
Bishop wasn't available anytime during the season...Tampa was supposed to contend this year Bishop wouldn't have been traded if they were in a playoff spot at the deadline. They only traded him once they realized their season was likely over and didn't want to risk losing him for nothing and miss the playoffs.
Pretty sickening no one stood up for him there

Why would you trade a Vezina caliber goalie if your a legit contender for the cup? They were never listening to offers for Bishop, those rumors were shot down. TB wouldve gladly risk losing Bishop for nothing because he boosts their chances at winning the cup. It was only once they were at the bottom of the standings at the deadline and likely to miss the playoffs that they dealt him.
What did they even back for him anyway? A backup goalie, B prospect and a 3rd.

context. Only capitals have played more minutes with the lead. playing with the lead a lot== teams just throwing it on your net in desperation to tie the game. rags and minny are the same possession wise but check the chances against them. spoiling the nerd chit....
Spoiler!
everything to the perimeter for 'sota, rags let you walk right in front of the net and shoot.Last edited by DreamerCut; 03-14-2017 at 10:11 AM.

So you believe Bishop was available this whole time at the beginning of the season when quick was initially injured and he just inexplicably waited till the deadline to get him? Doesn't seem logical.
He's their goalie of the future no doubt, Bishop is better and more proven and I'd start him over Vasileskiy no doubt come playoff time if I had both at my disposal.

Was at game six of that series. The $1,600 for the ticket ended up being worth it. I got to see some good games that there.
Bruins v.s. Habs game seven, Bruins v.s. Flyers sweep, and then the Bruins v.s Canucks game seven. Such a great season, led by Timmy the GOAT Thomas.
Loved when he took out that weasel Burrows.*Looking at sats makes me cry crew*
