Is Jupiters's Legacy or DOTA: Dragon’s Blood worth a watch?

I enjoyed Jupiter's Legacy. It's definitely not in the same tier as The Boys but it kept me interested. A lot less action and fighting than you might expect from a superhero show though, so if that's what you're wanting maybe give it a pass. Focuses more on flashbacks of origin story and family dynamics of the heroes.

Thoughts on Netflix shows Startup, or Night Stalker?

I watched the first 2 seasons of Startup years ago and thought it was surprisingly good.

Not as much glow as Lori Laughlin but she is Lois Lane aka Superman’s gf in the DC franchise. From all her interviews and what not I would gladly wife her. There’s definitely something very sexy and appealing about her. Yes better in motion. She and Mickie James are my over 40 hbbs.

Is Jupiters's Legacy

I watched first 2 eps and thought it was pretty bad. Probably because The Boys is still kinda fresh to me and it doesn't even compete.

Also watched Army of the Dead and I don't get all the hype. 5/10.

Army of the Dead was better than expected

I could have done a better job acting in Army of the Dead than any of the professionals, and my only experience in theater was as Cactus #3 in my elementary school production on the wild west.

Also, folks don't give up on Jupiter's Legacy. The story REALLY picks up when they get into the flashbacks. The last 3 or 4 eps are great just for the flashback scenes alone - honestly thats what the show should have been. Just keep in in the 1920s. Was getting mad Brenden Fraser Mummy vibes.


Currently watching Money Heist and Domina. Don't let the foreign language steer you off of Money Heist - just put it in native spanish with english subtitles and you'll get used to it in like 5 minutes. It's the most streamed show in history. I burned through the first two seasons in like 3 days, was so good.




Also Domina's been pretty good. Already dropped on Sky Atlantic but watching via "other means" here in the states. It's about a period of Roman history (Augustus' time on the throne) that gets ignored in other shows/movies about ancient rome. There was actually a lot of fukked up chit that was happening with Augustus' family and main friends during the time he became emperor.

Agreed, the show would have been much better if the entire thing was just the depression era origin story. I enjoyed all of those scenes. Could have done without the angsty teen BS in present day. I'm not optimistic for season 2 though because I would expect it to lean more into that now that the origin story has been told.

I loved Money Heist and also binged thru part 1 and 2 in little more than a weekend, but it really should have ended there imo. I watched part 3 and got major Prison Break vibes where the story had already been told and they had no where to go with it so they had them break out of a different prison. Haven't watched part 4 yet.

I thought this was the best acting the German dude(Matthias Schweighöfer) has ever done. This just shows how much German movies suck though.
