Is her form correct?instagram.com/p/BHut3LkjcLP/?hl=en
She is not a powerlifter. Is it a world record for women?

Lol, not even close to a decline.
Unstable? no
Sloppy back-brige? Eh? She should have front bridged, right?
She basically arched hard (legal in powerlifting), but didn't keep her butt down to give her added leg drive.
You'll notice that her shoulders/upperback are cemented to the bench. There's no movement at all. She had minimal foot shifting (I'm guessing it would pass in a meet). She looked very, very stable, despite her butt being in the air.

Butt up. No lift.
If she worked on her form she could be special. I can't lie, I use to have the same problem. Now I just pin my legs back, pin lats, pinch shoulder blades, and now I have an arch with no butt lift.
How much does she weigh?

I keep up with the records for my wife. She is going to one day break the squat record and possibly deadlift. I just don't tell her she is strong for 97 pds (4'11) so she will continue to push herself..hahahahahaha

When I fixed my form I went backwards at first. I had an initial 20-30lb drop then I leaped forward to an overall improvement of 50lb. (In the last 8mths).
If she fixed her form and trained for it. Maybe cut down to 198 lb. It would take about 2 years but it is possible with a lot of hard work.
60 lbs is a lot to lose.
People might think I am crazy but it is possible.
In my journey,
I cut weight from 225-230 pds to 180 pds. I also managed to have my bench go up from 315pds to 350pds. That was a 50 lb weight loss and a 45 pd gain in strength. I went from benching 1.36 bodyweight to 1.94 and nearing in on 2x bodyweight.
That took two years of dieting and vigorous work.
Honestly, very few people would put in the needed effort.Last edited by Swoleflex2016; 07-15-2016 at 02:36 PM.

In powerlifting you lower the weight to the chest and then you get a command to press once the weight has completely stopped moving.
Also can't believe people are actually defending this lift on a powerlifting forum, she's a strong athlete sure, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a pure ego lift with atrocious form. The kind of thing you'd see on gym fail compilations.

After seeing the video i'm assuming she's a thrower.
Lots of throwers bench like that and they're all strong as **** but sometimes have trouble transferring it to a more controlled paused bench.
Doesn't really matter though that's super impressive.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko
