As a young lad, my Dad's side of the family would rent out a large beach house for a week every summer. We would rent a different place every year. Always in the beaches of North Carolina though. It was always good times. Lost of sun, beaches, sometimes a pool. I always enjoyed myself.... Except for one summer. One summer wasn't good times at all. A big, olive green house. Three floors. Very large. I was maybe around nine or ten years old at the time. I have a large family on that side. There was maybe about 15-20 of us on this trip.
On this vacation, I was lucky enough to get to sleep on the floor in a bedroom shared with my Dad and older sister. They got the two beds, I got the floor. On the first night there, I was awaken in the middle of the night by the sound of tapping coming from various areas of the wall. It sounded like it was coming from within the room. Fingers tapping on the wall. I laid there and listened to it for quite awhile. My heart was pounding. Nervous, I woke up my dad to tell him what was going on. Pops always had a very short fuse with me. This was no exception. He basically told me to lay my ass down and leave him alone so he could sleep. So I did. Eventually, the tapping stopped and I drifted off to sleep. It did put my nerves on edge though.
The next day, that mild tapping was being heard by everyone in the house. But it wasn't tapping this time, it was knocking. Loud, repetitive knocking. Constantly. Sometimes one knock, sometimes a series of knocks. All day. All day long. Everyone heard it, no one knew how to react. The knocking continued throughout the night. Every hour there the knocking was heard. Knuckles knocking on the walls is what it sounded like. It was crazy. Everyone tried to ignore it. During the day, no one in the family would be in the house. Everyone would leave in different factions to do different things. No one wanted to be inside the house. For the week we were there, it was just simply a place for everyone to go to sleep.
In every bedroom, there was a large fan on the floor. Looking back, I suspect the fans were placed there to drown out the sound of knocking. On maybe the third or fourth night there, I was awaken in the middle of the night to my older cousin hysterically crying. I didn't know what was going on. I could hear everyone in the hall, but my dad wouldn't allow me to leave the room to see what was happening. The next day, my aunt and three cousins went home prematurely. I would soon find out that they left after my cousin woke up and saw their room's fan floating several feet in the air. I was terrified the entire week. The adults in the family tried to shield the kids from all this, but we all knew what was going on. I couldn't wait for the week to be over. I was scared to even use the bathroom by myself.
The odd thing is that I've casually brought it up several times over the years with family members, and they always act incredibly strange about it. They don't want to discuss the haunted beach house. My cousin is the exception. She's talked openly about seeing the fan floating, but everyone else really isn't open to talking about that place. I don't understand it. I think there may have been other incidents that happened while we were there. Things that the kids in the family were never informed about. I'm not sure. It was definitely a unique experience.
I've got another story I might type up later.

I was about 6 years old and I woke up laying next to an old man in my bed. I ran to the kitchen to get my dad to show him and he was gone. My great grandfather accidently killed himself in the house and they had the funeral in my bedroom. Im pretty sure it was him. My mom also saw him in the bathroom one time and was crying hysterically because she was so freaked out.
I have had a few other instances as an adult that really freaked me out. My brothers house seems to be pretty active with weird chit. We split renting this old house from the mid 1800s when we were in our early 20s.
-Clear footsteps in the hallway when nobody else is home
-Toilet flushing by itself
-Electronics turning on
-Doors slamming
-Weird electrical phenomenon similar to heavy buzzing static noise. Really hard to explain.
-My father saw a man walk threw the kitchen area and disappear
The most definitive one was actually an experience when I was on shrooms.I know what you are going to say that I was hallucinating this experience but I have my doubts seeing Its not typical for something that I am about to describe to happen. I have taken them many times and tripped my balls off but nothing like I experienced one night.
I took a little less than an eighth. I took a walk in the lot behind my house and it was dark. I came to this clearing where I usually walk my dogs and let them run around. Next thing I know a 20 something year old girl is walking towards me. She seemed intrigued by me and asked me if I could see her. She didnt understand how I could see her. I remember thinking this was really weird and kept asking her what do you mean? I was peaking on shrooms at this point and starting to freak out a little bit. She told me that she has seen me out here with my dogs and that she used to live here and her house burned down. At this point I was tripping out pretty bad and I ran back to my house.
I still dont know what I experienced. I get a weird feeling everytime I go out there now

A few years ago I had a strange occurrence, three nights in a row I woke up at around 3AM hearing strange whispers.
On the first night I woke up and heard a soft male voice whispering "ouy tnac ees em", the second night I heard the same faint voice whispering "dna sih eman si nhoj anec".
The whispers I heard on the third night though really scared the chit out of me, it was multiple voices, one main leading voice whispering "reven annog evig uoy pu reven annog tel uoy nwod" and a couple of fainter voices that repeated after the main "reven annog evig reven annog evig".
It sounded like some sort of ancient language, maybe a warning, or a prophecy? Not sure but it never happened to me again but it sure was eerieNo gracias Heff

A few years ago the gf and I rented an apartment in LA so she could pursue an acting career. I knew she was using me cuz she never put out or do anything nice for me. One night after a huge fight I ended up sleeping on thee couch, in an apartment I paid for no less, feeling pissed off and swore I would dump the sloot in the morning. Some time during the night she came out in a night gown, she didn't turn the light on but I could see her slim athletic movie star figure. She knelt by the couch and gave me the best blowjob any man could ever ask for. I came so hard it ached. In the morning I came and gave her a hug and thanked her for the bj, which she denied ever giving. I was just too happy I disregard her denial and gave her six hundred dollars from I earned from my trade job, paid uber to take her to her best gay friend Tyrone's house. She was happy, I was happy and it was all good. But the entire day I could not get that weird icky, runny taste out of my mouth.

long story, but this made a true believer of me in the afterlife....A friend of mine and I were at our church for a youth meeting, we were 18 at the time. We had both been gone on vacation the week prior and had just gotten back before we were scheduled to have this meeting in our church that evening around 5ish. So we unload our stuff and ride over to the church.
We get there to only find out we must have been early because we were the only ones there. We go inside and sit down in the main room, not the sanctuary which was to the right...the doors were shut to the sanctuary and we just didn't walk in there. A few min pass and all of a sudden the doors to the steps slammed shut. We were still alone but figured another friend had came in and was screwing with us. We weren't setting right by the entrance door, so we figured he just snuck in. So we both go to the steps and throw the door open expecting to see our friend. No one was there. We were like wtf and just turned around to walk back to the room we just left. When we turned around, no farther than six feet away from us our two bibles and the books we brought were on a nice stack in the hallway....these were in the other room with us before the door slammed. At this point we start loudly bad mouthing our friend, who we "knew" was screwing with us.
The door to the steps slammed shut again, and we were literally just feet away from it. So we were already confused but this is the point we both had true fear enter our minds....we turn to watch the door handle (on the door that slammed shut) turn, we look at each other and I grab the door handle and yank....there was no one there. We stood, for what felt like a min not talking (probably only 5 seconds because we were SCARED). When we turned back around that stack of bibles was scattered all over the floor...and we didn't touch them yet!
We bolted outside and were both in tears....yes....18 year olds scared to death in tears! We sat outside and the pastor drove by.....turned around and pulled up. We ran to his truck asking where the hell everyone was. He's all like " oh yeah you were gone and didn't get the memo" this was 1998 before most people had cell phones, he went on to say " old man so and so died and his funeral is tomorrow, he's in the sanctuary now for the viewing tonight".
At this point my buddy started to gag, and I felt light headed. Our pastor just asked " you didn't go in there did you?" We told him the entire story....he's looking at us like we were high. He goes in and we sit outside...he comes out with our books and the bibles. He said "everything looks ok, no one is in there at all, don't talk about being in there with old man so and so, people will be mad at you....oh by the way these were on a stack in the sanctuary."
My buddy and I couldn't talk at this point. We just took our stuff and left. I've only been in that church twice since that July day in 1998.Any information I give you is just that, information; it is not the permission to take any supplement or partake in any illegal activity.

OP I never really tell anyone about this, and the only reason i'll take time to write this out is because you said you were going to read every post...So,
My parents lived in a house where a murder took place years before. The ghost would make himself known to my parents by closing random doors in the house, starting water faucets in the bathroom and kitchen sinks, books getting thrown off bookshelves, lights randomly turning on and off, etc... My mom talked about these random things happening but I didn't believe her for the longest time. Until one day our family was together at her house having Thanksgiving dinner in the dining room. The floor plan of the house was open, so we can see directly into the kitchen from the dining room table. We were all sitting eating at the table and from out of nowhere a glass falls from the kitchen counter into the kitchen sink and breaks. Everyone at the table looks towards the sink in the kitchen, and no one is in the kitchen. Gravity right? I and the rest of the family dismissed it to gravity. But not my mom. She yells at the ghost/spirit, "Bill, stop messing around! We are trying to have a nice dinner here!" She was so used to his antics because they were so common, that she referred to him by name. I got up from the table to go look at the broken glass and as I get near the sink the water faucet turns on. Stopped me dead in my tracks and once again the rest of the family looks up from the table towards the sink and sees the faucet running. This cannot be blamed on gravity. The design of the water faucet in the sink is the type you must lift the handle up in order to start the water. That is exactly what happened. I, nor the rest of the family could not explain what we all had just witnessed. My mom on the other hand just spoke to him again and said "Bill, I said that was enough!, now leave us alone. We know you are here. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!" The rest of us just sat there in shock and kind of awkwardly chuckled it off. But till this day we can not explain it other than it being supernatural.Balloon knot connoisseur.

Not really spooky or anything, but kind of a weird occurrence.
The night my grandfather died, I had woken up around 3AM, just wide awake, with the feeling that something was wrong. This was especially strange since I had just fallen asleep at 1AM that night and rarely wake up that way. Maybe 5 - 10 minutes after waking up, the phone rang and I heard my mom start crying. I pretended to still be asleep and she came and woke me up and told me that my grandfather had died.
Now the weirdest part is, I have like four or five younger cousins who live separately and I overheard their parents talking about how they had woken up at around 3AM themselves. Normally I'd just brush this off as stupid superstitious chit because my family is so desperate to find meaning in everything, but I hadn't even told them that the same thing had happened to me.
Just a weird coincidence that a bunch of my grandfather's descendants all seemed to sense that he had passed.Books read in 2017: 110

WTF at those nurse stories I'm dead for the rest of my life Here's just a little ditty
-///
At one point during the night the nurse went into the room and the patient was at the top of the bed and looked at her and said, "don't let them take me!", the nurse was freaked out and asked her who was going to take her and she said that black thing up there and pointed up in the air. This patient died within minutes.Few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder.

Okay I'll bite.
Story 1: This happened in 1992, 1 year before I was born. My mom, studying in Moscow at that time, went to a famous fortune teller. The lady asked my mom to give her her hands. As soon as my mom did it... the lady panicked... and told my mom that within 10 days someone in her family will die. The lady told my mom to immediately tell the family about this. My mom was scared, she went home and called everyone home to check. Everyone was happy and healthy. Exactly 10 days later, her uncle, while having lunch, died without any reason. He was laughing and suddenly... The doctor could not identify his cause of death.
Story 2: My grandad (mother side) passed away in 2009. In our culture (which is similar to the Chinese and other oriental cultures), if someone passes away, it's not the end. The soul will go to some realm... kinda like Christianity.
So 1 year later, my big family decided to "communicate" with him to know whatsup. We contacted a medium and she performed a ceremony. I was in Finland at that time so couldn't attend it, this story was told by my mom. 12 people in my family went to that ceremony. They sat down in circle around the medium... and later, the soul of my grandad "possessed" the body of my female cousin (she is weak-minded btw and thus easy to be possesed). My cousin suddenly talked with closed eyes and with the voice of my grandad. "My grandad" complained about the fact that my grandma threw away "his" clothes 3 days after he died (which is true). "He" also said that "he" is hungry and wants to eat white bread (my grandad used to be addicted to white bread). Etc. etc.
It's a very real evidence to show that souls don't "die" afterlife and possessing is actually real. I got negged for this story btw.
Story 3: My grandma (father side) passed away in 2013. Within the first 49 days of her death (which, according to our culture, is the time when the soul stays on Earth; only after 49 days it could be allowed to join the Buddha) many strange things happened. For example, a butterfly kept flying around the coffin (we put the coffin in the house during the first few days so that friends and relatives can visit her before we carried that to the grave). In our culture, a butterfly reminds of a good wish from a dead person to the people who are still living. The butterfly stayed on that same spot for days. Only when we carried the coffin to the grave did the butterfly flew away.
My father and aunt also had "butterfly" visits in their office, which has never happened before. It's as if my grandma is wishing my dad and my aunt good luck in their work.
Story 4: This didn't actually happen to me, but it took place very close to my place. When I studied high school in Singapore, I lived in a dorm. Right next to me is a dorm for girls. One of those rooms is always empty... because no one wanted to rent it.
The story went back to 2000s. A Chinese girl, who was stressed studying for exams, hanged herself in the middle of the room.
So one day in 2006, 2 female teachers from abroad went to our school to gave a speech. They booked the same room that the girl died. At midnight, one of them woke up, and saw a dead body hanging in the middle of the room. She was scared, and tried to wake the other person up. But as the other person woke up, the dead body was not there any more.
From then on, nobody booked that room anymore, lol.

And if you guys don't know, Singapore is a small island (700 km2), it's like New York City size. During WW2, the Brits withdrew their army from the island back to help defend the Uk against the Nazis. So Singaporeans didn't have any means to defend against the Japs. The Japs commited lots of killings against innocent locals...
And as it's a very small island, lots of places are actually built upon former cemeteries. My high school is one of those places. So Singapore as a whole is very haunted.
I once went to the beach and on the way, I saw a house (it has a big garden surrounding it). It looks very burnt from the outside, seems that it caught fire. But the creepy thing is, all the windows are nailed with wood pieces. And the wall surrounding the house is sealed with police banner which says "trespassing is not allowed".
It looked more than a house that caught fire. It reminded me of the Grudge horror movie. Someone tried to burn the house to kill the demon/ghost...

There is also a story in Finland.
My schoolmate claims to be able to foresee the future. I didn't believe her at first. But this story gives me goose bump.
In Finland there is a start-up company fairly well known to business students, known as Me2U. Students from our school have attended various career talks by them.
Anyways, one day, my friend suddenly said that she saw the face of the CEO of the start-up company in front of her. I asked her what she meant, and she said that something bad must be happening to her.
And something DID happened. The CEO suddenly went missing. Several days later, the police found her dead body in the woods.

Work trip and laying on my side in bed. The bed booked was for a double. I felt someone jump on the other side of the bed causing me to bounce up quite a substantial amount causing me to almost fall off. I look around and there was NOTHING.
Went down to the receptionist and explained what had happened. They immediately booked me to another room without hesitation as if stuff has happened before.
Still dunno till this day wtf happened.MFC Troll Crew - The Bowling Team
