I dunno about where you guys live but there's no fukin chance I'm playing this in the -40 degree winters we have here. It's a trend for my area for sure, unless they add something to combat the extreme weather for locations like mine

I already had a fire and electric one, and tried the trick on my 3rd one for vapereon and I did get a vape.. So take that for what it is.

Yeah the 80CP weedles popping out and escaping after 2 balls is retarded... Did anyone figure out a definitive way to get past the poke balls flying into the abyss with stars? I tried everything from waiting till right after an attack or jump, to trying to swerve the ball way to the right to make it land when curving back. Literally found no rhyme or reason to why my ball would go straight after 5-10 pokeballs.

Then again, it seems like a lot of Aussies are playing it, so I guess we could ask them how it's doing.

app has to be up on screen while you walk. You do not need it in your hand though. There is a speed limit but if you are walking you should not hit it.

I think it is tracked by GPS so u actually have to travel distances. Can't just walk around in one building. I'm not sure though.

So quick update.

Currently in West Virginia doing some flood cleanup.

Pokemon are most definitely region specific.

Over here mankeys/arcanine/duoduo/ etc are soooo plentiful.

Thought I had a genius idea, and while on the bus I popped an incense so Pokemon would come to me.

Method doesn't work evidently, because while you can click on the Pokemon, you only get one chance to catch them or they run away, presumably due to the vehicle moving 75+ mph.

Oh well. We should be housed in a church, so I'm hoping I'll be able to lure and incense and poke farm at night after the work is done each day

my vap is only 450. I have a couple 600 eevees I'm going to evolve here soon, but I'm waiting to stack up some moer pidgeys for an egg evolve party.

I've got a theory that's pretty solid: you will only add to the egg distances during times when your phone will vibrate to alert you of nearby pokemon. So, this includes when you are evolving or when you have the menu open, but excludes when you are catching pokemon or when your phone is in sleep mode, even with the app running. Also, I heard the speed cap is 12.5km/h, which is 3.47 mph (pretty dang slow), so if you run or walk too fast, it won't register.

(BTW, also a galaxy s5 here at level 26).
