Somewhere between 1 and infinity. Need a battery of tests per individual to narrow it down.

Don't do pushups to burn calories. You'd be much better off getting your diet in check and doing interval sprints 2 or 3 times a week.

So few it's not even worth calculating unless you're doing 100s of them every day.
They are a great strength exercise though and building muscle will improve your metabolism and make some forms of cardio easier.www.youtube.com/channel/UC5SZNPridefchQmc6xcQ35w

Research all types of pushups then.
Dive bomb,hindu,Feet elevated,wide grip,close grip,one arm push ups ect.
Do a search make your pushups more challenging.

You cannot out train a bad diet. I oughta know, I tried for years.
You may as well think of exercise as if it ONLY builds muscle and not even consider it as a way to cause calorie deficit. Just assume 100% of your deficit will come from your diet, because you'd have to jog many miles just to burn off the calories in a big cup of orange juice.
Pretend your workouts burn ZERO calories and diet accordingly.
