Arrow Squat and leg press knee pain

    Hello.

I'm thinking about going to the gym again and one thing that I didn't like about training was leg days because my knees hurt if I go higher than 100 kg (220 lbs) on squats or leg press. I've tried warming up in all kinds of ways and used knee sleeves - nothing helped.

Do I just not go past that weight and have easy leg days or is there a "fix" for knee pains? I've also tried taking some kind of pills for bones and chit to no avail.

open up your hips more, dont have very narrow stance during squats. and avoid very high percentages for a week or two. let your joints heal. do a full week of deload if you need to

Already tried all kinds of stances and did deload also. Nothing has helped.

Have you checked with a doctor to make sure nothing is wrong? When I was getting knee pains like that it was degenerative cartilage issues in my knees. Would be worth it to get checked out and make sure the heavy lifts aren't aggravating something you don't recognize.
