Yeah the combat and just general movement is so fun and fluid that just running around finding something to do is fun.

Make sure you do the tutorials for the weapons from your quest log, they are basically weapon challenges and award a lot of xp and show you different strategies. Fire Bellowbacks would #rekt me every time, but now that I have ropecasters, sling etc I took on 3 of them at once and barely got hit.

I have found my favorite was to combat the bellowbacks is high hear arrows to their sac, causes a big explosion when it blows, really love how you can tackle so many different situations in so many different ways though.

If you wanna cheese the game (since you're playing Ultra hard), use a whole bunch of dmg mods on the grenade bows and you do a chit ton of damage.


Wait till you guys start the DLC ... the graphics in that part of the map is much more refined than the base game.

Yeah you can freeze/rope them to set up the shot too - only handy because they like to get close to you before they explode. Bellowbacks - the dicks of the robot ecosystem.

Last night I was drinking rum and cokes and just farmed up materials for Shadow versions of:

Sharpshot Bow
Tripshot
Rope Launcher
Sling
All Element resist armor
3 mod slot armor

Got all of the Tallnecks last night too. Good stuff, back to the main quests for a bit now.

Das it mane, great series. It reminds me of the new Wolfenstein games - the Bioshock games are 10/10 games, despite just being a decent to sorta bad shooter.

Two is pretty good but Bioshock 1 and Infinite are classics.

They were offering the entire PSVR system (headset, move controllers, camera) and Skyrim. Not a bad deal considering I think they'd only charge you $300 if you chose to keep the system.

I've had the collection since near launch. Just finished up the second one in October. I played Infinite on the PS3 but never finished it; got to the very end though. Looking forward to seeing the ending. Between one and two, I like one better.

Man. Infinite is definitely it's own thing, but there are some narrative threads (trying to stay vague here) that tie back to the entire series.

I would play them in order if I were you, but it's not going to ruin the impact of infinite if you don't.

Monster Hunter: World Game's Japanese Introduction Video Streamed

English PS4 beta for PS+ subscribers to launch on December 9.

CAPCOM also provided more details on Friday for the game's upcoming beta for PlayStation 4. The beta is limited to PlayStation Plus members, and will run from December 9 at 12:00 p.m. EST to December 12 at 11:59 a.m. EST. Players will get bonuses to use in the full game.

The game is slated for a worldwide release on PS4 and Xbox One on January 26. The game will be available in Digital Deluxe Edition and Collector's Edition versions.



The Digital Deluxe Edition will come with the Samurai Set armor, three additional gestures, two additional sticker sets, an additional face paint, and additional hair style.



The Collector's Edition will contain everything from the Digital Deluxe Edition and also include a Nergigante figure, a download code for the game's soundtrack, and the "Monster Designs" art book.

People who pre-order any edition of the game will receive a download code for the Origin Armor set and Fair Wind charm. In addition, digital pre-orders will get an exclusive PS4 theme.

The PC release will follow after the game's console release.

The new game will be an open world game that will no longer have the previous games' loading screens in between areas, and will thus no longer allow players to use zone transitions as safe zones. The game will have a "living ecosystem" that will allow players to use and destroy elements of the environment, and use monster behaviors against other monsters.

Finally moving into a house, so will now have my own office/gaming room with my playseat, couch, etc hngngngngng and now my gf will no longer be able to bitch about me having the playseat setup in our apartment living room lmao. MGFTP you live somewhere close to nyc right? We live in a philly suburb that was voted some sort of best emerging neighborhood or some **** in a really nice apartment complex, so we do pay a premium, but they handed us our lease renewal offer in Oct. for our 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 737 sq. ft. apartment. $1985/mo +trash, utilities, water, sewer, amenities fee, etc.

So now we bought and are restoring a 120yr old house. Insane amount of work but can't wait.


Sorry for off topic, to this thread more, I know a few of you were curious about Gran Turismo Sport and I gave a pretty scathing review initially. They however recently released a free update which, combined with the next planned Dec update, will make it a much more complete game.

Update 1.06 content (planned for 27 November 2017)

1. Campaign Mode, Scapes, and the Livery Editor features will become available also when offline. (However, an online connection is still required to save game progress).

2. Some elements of the car physics simulation model have been improved. This can be noticed especially in commercial cars, which exhibit less grip on the road, with improved sense of realism and controllability.

3. In line with the changes above, we have adjusted the difficulty level of the Driving School and Mission Challenges in the Campaign Mode, to allow a smoother game experience.

4. In Sport mode races, the judgement algorithm of the Sportsmanship Rating (SR) has been improved. Furthermore, it is also now possible to see the deductions of SR points not only for yourself, but also for other drivers involved in a collision/incident with your car.

5. ‘Autumn Leaves’ has been added to the featured Scapes photos. Some new photo spots have also been added.

6. The following 3 cars will be added to the game as free DLC:

Nah should be a straight up open beta download via the PS store based on the post bleachway put up.

There are a couple of conversations that take place near the end of the dlc that talk about events that happen in the final part of the base game, so I'd say dont do the final dlc quest until you finish the main game.

You can always go to the DLC area, see the new graphics refinements, do a couple main quests and side quests and then go back to finishing the base game before coming back. There is a new skill tree in the DLC which gives you 20% extra storage space for inventory and that's well worth getting .. Not sure if its already unlocked for you or if you have to go to the new area to unlock it lol.
