Anyone getting Far Cry 5? Been watching a lot of gameplay vids on theradbrad's channel and it looks really fun. Not the same monotonous stuff from Far Cry 4 although I did really enjoy that

Looks tremendous to me but being that it's Ubisoft I'll wait and see what the word is after release. No reason to rush into it IMO.

Other cousin has PS4 and wants to do Fortnite, is addicted to that, but I cannot get into it at all.

God of War in a bout 5 weeks boyos! Really probably going to be my GOTY.

A buddy forced me to try fornite when I was at his place a couple weeks ago. Game is a joke, loose controls, unrealistic gun mechanics, and just LoL@ the Minecraft element. Yet somehow he and many people love it. Got me.

Not sure how far into the fight you got but that fight is designed to teach you the last few mechanics you'll need in the game:

1) Human enemies with a long wind up animation: learn to Parry and Visceral attack
2) Once he changes tactics later in the fight (you'll know it when you see it), dodge TOWARD/thru him, don't back away. It's counter intuitive but a lot of enemies will leap toward you and if you back up you'll still be in their attack range.

If you can kill Papa Guacamole you can beat the entire game, boyo. May the good blood go with you.

im hyped for it

all the far cry games since far cry 2 have been pretty damn good (far cry 3, far cry blood dragon, far cry 4, far cry primal). it's definitely not gonna win any GOTY awards since it's probably gonna be more of the same, but the core far cry gameplay is hnng so i aint complainin.

also, ubisoft has been on a roll lately, so i have faith in them. all their GaaS games are constantly being updated and are pretty amazing at this point (rainbow six siege, the division, for honor, etc.), and ive always been a fan of the AC + FC games, so far cry 5 is a no brainer for me. will be buying it on PC tho heh.

yeah, probably gonna pick it up. wasnt a fan of the first game (only played like 30 minutes but the combat felt like trash). i heard this one is gonna be way better tho so gonna try it out. finna get it on dat dere pc tho cuz im pc master race now
