I didn't really think about it I was just drunk and felt it was a good time to check it out.

It's really enjoyable. A little ham fisted with the kids, but all their interactions with the adults of the show are pretty concise.

How many episodes did you see? Season 2 should be coming soon. In the misc sticky thread someone said they finished shooting.

Well I wouldn't take much stock in what gets said in the misc tbh.

Idunno I don't like to think about it. The dojo's up and running but Johnny hasn't talked to Danny that much.

They're doing an okay job of making Danny likeable but also still coming off as an ass in a passive and understandable manner.

In other news: Jesus, 5 eggs and 20 oz of whole milk to supplement my meal, and it's still only half the protein of the salmon that only weighed .85 lbs. It edged out on the total fat though. Salmon was only 25 g while the milk and eggs comes to 30.

I never found eggs to be terribly satiating

While I was full finishing it, I wasn't that stuffed after the meal. Though I was satisfied with 3 different types of protein and considerably healthy fats/cholesterol.

Attempting to weaken the blow only "helps" the victim. Lawyers work best after they've been struck a few times.

I think you're right. It's weird. First I hate that common nutrition etiquette that says fiber is satiating. Anything having to do with carbs is the opposite of satiating.

Usually I think fat is what's actually satiating after you wait a little bit for it to digest, but actually that's not really true considering eggs and the likes of red meat. I think it's just more vegetarian oil that makes me overly full.

Protein has literally no effect on satiety.

Back in the saddle training again after a long hiatus and forgot what DOMS is like. Decided to just blast the muscles that were already sore and will find out in a day or two if that was a bad idea.

There was also a guy in there dropping 50lb dumbbells from shoulder height to get attention. Good to see gyms still bring the entertainment.

What's your diet like? I always drink Gatorade/Powerade during workouts. Used to drink a Red Bull as well but I gave that stuff up a year ago along with junk food.

Father in law brought over a couple of Domino's pizzas the other day and looked like he'd be offended if I didn't eat one. It disappeared in about 4 minutes flat. What I learned from this is there's no way I can do the gym thing without pizza and when I say pizza I mean the greasy thick crust stuff you wash down with beer. So the junk food embargo has been lifted.

They'll get a shock when their biggest customer is back on the grid and walks in there to pick them up again. "We thought you died mate."

Supposedly ginger is supposed to help with soreness. Takes a bit of frequent supplementing though.

haha humbling, that's a good word for it. I had a good idea on what was coming, and it's much easier knowing there's muscle memory on your side. The slow curve was the first few sessions the bar was shaking like noob, not that crisp motion, and failure can come at any time. That subsides pretty quick though, and you might not have taken off as long as me. And you're a young fella. You might be at 315 next month.

Good you're back to za. With my diet nothing changed much, except a month of keto in june and some intermittent fasting here and there. I always ate pretty big, and when I stopped lifting, in my 40s, got pretty fat in the belly. The tail end of the hiatus was simply losing all the fat, and didn't change diet all that much. Just walking an hour a day, and now I'm back to my old clothes.

If you switch to vodka like me you could give paleo or keto a testrun.

That's kinda what I was doing with Salmon, eggs, and almonds. Though the milk that I mentioned isn't very paleo friendly I think.

Keto did work good, lost 2 inches that month, it was my kick start. Sucks for lifting though and no longer need to lose weight. I'm sure there'll be a place for it again though. Are you on paleo or keto now?

Not really. Costco has wild sockeye salmon packages for $10 /lb, and I've gotten a few of those, opting to go for intermittent fasting since I already work out on an empty stomach. Doing that for 4 days, the bottom end of my rolling average body weight went down 5-6 lbs (below the actual average) and my stomach felt vacuum sealed from the lack of carbs.

Boy, these rant threads don't fill up quite like they used to...!
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

I used to get to school and had like three pages of stuff to read through following the previous night. Especially being in Hawaii there was quite a lapse between time zones with most everybody being on the east coast.
