Got to be very proud Flex, "the old man" got his ass kicked.

Most on these forums will have quit lifting by mid 30s let alone still going strong two decades later.

    I’m almost 50 myself.

Had to deal with Covid in September. It played havoc with my asthma. Not fun at all. I was sick for 2 weeks. And then I got the flu the week of Thanksgiving. I did test negative for Covid and RSV.

But on a positive note, I have no grey in my hair, save for my facial hair (coming in mostly white now).
I think a lot of us are within a year or two in age. Me, you, dommy, lucky lenco, darinbaldi, probably forgetting some. Remember when Hot for Teacher came out in Middle School.
I haven't got the wuhan, flu, or asthma, but plenty of gray if I don't color it.

I was in the 4th grade when that song came out. Im not ashamed to admit that I liked Michael Jackson during that year.

I first saw Superman and Return of the Jedi in the theaters when they came out.

I’ve had asthma since I was 4. I don’t suffer from asthma attacks often, but I struggle with my breathing when I get the flu or the cold.

Another full year of mindless ramblings about quarterbacks and the forward pass followed by the NFC Championship Game to be played by the two top ranking defenses/yards allowed.

To further belabor the point, San Francisco's quarterback position player is not only a rookie, but drafted 262nd a few months ago out of iowa state. lmao.

It's starting to pick up a little steam lately.

OK, I'm coming off of COVID and thinking about doing a straight BBB 5/3/1 until my CNS behaves and I get my strength back (lost 15 lbs in a week due to COVID). Any suggestions or any different programs that may be more beneficial, or just different? 5/3/1 is getting a little stale. I was starting a hypertrophy phase when I got sick, btw.

ETA: look up some of Purdy's spectacular turnovers during his senior year at ISU.

    5 day split
I've found reverse pyramids work well to stay healthy.
Maybe not ideal if you're chasing 1 rm's, but you can get a lot of work in when gradually decreasing weight on subsequent sets.

Also did you see the Air Raid offense is coming to Madison? From what I've read about the philosophy, I'm actually pretty excited. My argument for years is teams at all levels make things way too complicated looking for the perfect play and when it's run, execution is so bad it looks like the play was never practiced.
My understanding is Oklahoma is one school that's historically used it, and offense was never an issue in Norman.

Also, I better post this Final Season trailer before big General S beats me to it. Already over 2.6 million views just for the trailer

Idunno it's been fun but I think I'll pass.

Or not, it's actually a pretty good show. Let's see how it goes.

Yep, the Pirate ran it here in 1999 and it evolved from there. The Muleshoe weasel and his brother are really knocking it out of the park with the Air-Raid by adding a power running component (GT counter is such a good play out of spread). Y'all got two good QB's up there that spent some time down here in Mordecai and Evers. Both are very good and can spin it. Evers can run as well. Fickell will have that thing going pretty quickly, and I'll be rooting for the former Sooners up there.

Jack Ryan season 3 was good. Letterkenny season 11 was Letterkenny. I need to pick Cobra Kai back up, just no time.

Good stuff, figured you'll be knowledgeable. I didn't realize the Pirate was there in '99.

I'm starting to wonder how effective those spam ads are.

Each of the new wall has like 20-50 views. Not sure if those are real impressions of course.

Dude, I know you only comment on this thread and you don't get involved in other discussions anymore, but you are a moderator here.

Don't you know any admin that could get rid of all the clickbait fake threads/spam ads? Someone that could make a rule like "A new user with less than 100 posts can only create a thread in a time frame of 24 hours"?
I like to learn from the mistakes of the people who take my advice.

I share your frustration with it and have discussed it with the admin. Spent hours, days, deleting pages of it only it was like pissing in the wind. Even contacted the ISP and that was time I won't get back. I believe a minimum post requirement was put in place a couple of weeks ago. I'll look into it again.

What I've been asking for is new forum software. vBulletin is stuck in 2005. We need new tools. Members deserve a mobile friendly UI. Typing this on my phone right now was torture.

My experience from Moderating other boards is that just causes new members to spam the board with 100 posts so they can create the thread.

Also I pulled a 515 lb deadlift on Wednesday at the ripe old age of 55. Video is in the O35 misc section if anyone gives a ****.

    Happy Friday.
