Fun fact I wasn't aware of. The hot shot football player in the clip I provided above is played by Martin Kove's son. Genius cinema, as the scene wanted viewers to initially guess we were looking at a young Kreese in '65, up until the manager yells "Kreese" at the bus boy.

No snow? At least you won't need a heater. Looks like some nice steel. Both Rogue and Titan seem to be having extremely fast ship times. I was planning on 5-6 weeks and both companies are estimating delivery inside a week.

Okay yeah it fooled me too and I didn't know that 'til now.

That was actually a good ending to his flashback and pretty much delivers for explaining why he does what he does, except for why he's like an ******* to kids to the point of villainy, but that really is just a detail now.

Also, don't you find it weird that he filed a restraining order on Daniel's wife for striking him when he had struck Dimitri without even any provocation?

Swimming with a leg buoy is another option of course.

Nice. Weather in Hawaii looks identical to here so zero snow and forget about heating — you'd have a couple of fans blasting away in the garage most of the year.

Restraining orders don't have much bearing on civil dispute outcomes, but still you don't think it weird he didn't realize that he had done the same thing to Dimitri?

So I finally tried some trail running with the outdoor socks I got months ago. Not bad, I must say. Started off unexpectedly humbling. Got pretty cool at some points but ouch crap ouch sometimes. Feet could get used to this. I'll probably drive up further where it's not a formerly paved fire path with only mostly thin dirt over it.

Either way my feet hurt but the socks do not show any signs of tearing. I've heard you can't really run on pavement with them at 200 lbs but trails should be fine

Watched the two available episodes last night. Good stuff so far. Really like the not-so-subtle portions that have an out-of-place/unnerving feeling to them.

Also happy 2021, rant. Hope you're all staying safe and not siding with extremist groups. <3

Yeah what a way to kick off the MCU season when everybody's either stuck in suburbia or risking their lives. It's like she knows just about as much as we do as far as what's going on.

    Why not full cage?

Don't think I'd need one, myself.

Because I wanted a Squat Stand.
I like their racks too though, they have a nice flat foot for just $795.
No more moving barbells in and out of a cage all the time.

    Anybody here buy American Barbells?

I almost got the SML-1 last year but instead at the very last minute got the SML-2 instead because it had a pull-up bar. It's pretty sturdy, much more sturdier than I was expecting for a squat stand, well at least for my poverty lifts. I'm pretty satisfied with it. I believe there is a conversion kit to convert it into a full cage so I may go that route one of these days. Thank you.

Did you get one of the fancy colors? I was originally looking at the SML-2C in the red. These things should last a lifetime.

The good thing about cold showers is that When the power is out you can stay clean. Also it cuts down on electricity throughout the rest of the year.

I can't stand cold showers no matter how many benefits they are linked to...unless its mid summer

I don't think they are really proven benefits. Still though I've been going 18 months with it.

So I just did for the first time one of Amazon's returnless refunds. Why every business doesn't have this, I'm not sure.

Good session on the erg today. I'm homing in on my ability to not rely on power too much for a consistent stroke.
