Sounds decent.

Damn I just noticed it's not in stock. I ordered something from them 3 weeks ago which shipped only a few days ago so they're swamped. They make solid stuff right there in Ohio which to me is worth the wait.
Unrelated but my trap bar arrived last week and I did 8 sets of 5 reps after about 6 warmup sets which is a lot more volume than I'd usually do in the gym but felt great. Followed them with bent over rows using the trap bar and finished with trap bar shrugs. I also plan to use it as a frame carry/farmers walk. I definitely think it's a worthwhile piece of gear for you and being tall I think you'd appreciate the neutral grip position that's a little higher than a barbell.

Yea took me a bit to see it was sold out lol. I really like the idea of using the trap for farmers walks. Farmer's have to be one of the most underrated exercise. Hits my whole body but really hits my core and traps plus obviously forearms
This whole thing has really forced me into investing on a home gym.

Definitely. The trap bar is quite versatile and I think you could use it in place of squats until you've got a rack or indefinitely. You can also flip it over if you want to make it harder and alternate between a more upright back with greater leg drive and something closer to a conventional deadlift as explained here.
The Rogue bar he mentions with 16" sleeves can take a lot of plates but is longer than most barbells. The one I bought is under 5ft, weighs 45lbs, takes 7 plates a side with OSO collars (more with those fancy calibrated plates), and I can throw it in the car and train anywhere. I'd be lying if I said I thought about that when I bought it because I grabbed what was available.

Got hold of a pair of Fat gripz.
1" natural grip on weights seems really inhibiting as for strength allowance and is pretty uncomfortable. The gripz are a little thicker than I really care for, but it's way more comfortable to do higher rep curls.Last edited by GeneralSerpant; 04-07-2020 at 10:41 AM.

What's wrong with this sled?

A little more expensive but is decked out with mod potential.

I've been using a 2" bar without rotating sleeves and it's a real forearm blaster.
$70 more and also out of stock. Crazy times. Several online stores here have stopped taking orders. I ordered a plate tree 3 weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped.
Speaking of Rogue I saw this in Thor's garage and was admiring those jack lever arms. "When you want to switch between athletes of different sizes, the height of the J-cups can be quickly adjusted using our unique jack system—with no need to waste time removing plates from your barbell. Simply use the lever arms to raise or lower the position, referring to the laser-cut numbers in the uprights for guidance."

The dynamic between stuff like lawyers and judges, and teachers and principals, has always been weird to me. Judges and Principals tend to have the same motivations towards their field of work as the other respective two, but the operandum is pretty distinct. I guess maybe it's just that lawyers and teachers are typically more appealing to the more youthful?

Probably a pretty good time to negotiate a new car purchase price. Even the most well established dealers will likely move product at a steep loss in exchange for some monthly cash flow. And you don't have to go sit in their lil showroom.

Good luck with that. Car sales operate under a framework of 1st degree price discrimination. That means the seller is speculating on you, taking every chance they can get to capture more welfare.
