Somehow I wound up choosing 8 sets as a db bench regimen. 8x3 and it was going pretty smooth with lp until I found out I have to jump 10 lbs because of a missing db. It's fun stuff.

They offered a "job keeper" allowance during 2020. Now it's "no jab, no job."

We'll see if these bureaucrats end up on the right side of history.

What is the point of performing 3 reps with dumbbells? 3x8 makes more sense if your goal is to build muscle.

I love it too but as you said it's not sustainable. I use it in short waves.

I didn't find 3x8 very stimulating for progression.

I remember trying 10x3 routine I read about at T nation back in like 2007. Getting the db’s in and out of position was more work than the exercise itself. Not a fan at all
    I don't know either lol

I think higher sets is more compatible in a routine more set up for periodization. Otherwise it's not going to last for a very long time after the stall. But I wouldn't exactly call it a waste of time either whenever I've done it in bodybuilding type fashion. For barbell OHP and/or flat/incline db it was the most steady work I found myself doing.

Tonight #12 Aaron Rodgers shows the world what can be done without the crutch. If I had more brains I would've reserved a suite, it's going to be a little chilly.
