Watch some decent videos on it so you don't hurt yourself. It's not an exercise where you learn on the job. Get it right from the start.

It's actually going better than ever. And it's not an exercise I underestimate.

I don't do much RPE at all on form breakdown exercises.

I stick with sets of 1-5 from the floor and go higher with Romanian deadlifts like sets of 8. Never truly maxed out on deadlifts and never plan to grind out a rep. I always leave a rep in the tank with that exercise.

Just my 2 cents but I think the majority of people should use trap bar when going heavy because those extra inches added to the starting position will make a big difference to the lower vertebrae. Mine has really good knurling so I haven't had to use straps which is another benefit. Mixed grip is just a bad idea unless of course you're a powerlifter and you want to roll the dice with those biceps tendons.

The one at the gym looks new but I can tell they've sanded the knurling down to make it comfortable for people who don't like to work hard. Anyway I see no reason to use a barbell for deadlifts these days except for RDLs. I'm not a powerlifter. I only care about building muscle and getting stronger and it serves those purposes.

I've found that extending my anterior core muscles in the front has been key for a host of exercises. Otherwise, my APT had obfuscated a lot of leg leverage.

There's no nutritional credibility to paleo dieting. In fact it's probably just a response to organized agricultural practices inclusive up to the modernized commercial landscape of today.

I got a little handheld sander that works well on dry heels, and got rid of a glacier of blister that had been on my feet since Hawaii.

The instructions say to wash your feet prior to using it, but frankly I think it does a pretty good job at getting any impurities off the skin lol.
