It's actually going better than ever. And it's not an exercise I underestimate.

I don't do much RPE at all on form breakdown exercises.

I stick with sets of 1-5 from the floor and go higher with Romanian deadlifts like sets of 8. Never truly maxed out on deadlifts and never plan to grind out a rep. I always leave a rep in the tank with that exercise.

Just my 2 cents but I think the majority of people should use trap bar when going heavy because those extra inches added to the starting position will make a big difference to the lower vertebrae. Mine has really good knurling so I haven't had to use straps which is another benefit. Mixed grip is just a bad idea unless of course you're a powerlifter and you want to roll the dice with those biceps tendons.

The one at the gym looks new but I can tell they've sanded the knurling down to make it comfortable for people who don't like to work hard. Anyway I see no reason to use a barbell for deadlifts these days except for RDLs. I'm not a powerlifter. I only care about building muscle and getting stronger and it serves those purposes.

Yeah one in the tank is nowhere near me that's for sure.

I've found that extending my anterior core muscles in the front has been key for a host of exercises. Otherwise, my APT had obfuscated a lot of leg leverage.

I agree with Manly that eggs aren't very satiating. In fact, they're kind of like carbs where they reverse satiety even when mixed with more satiating foods.

Had to leave it after the first 20 min., but Uncle Joe was at least holding it together. I was kinda surprised.

Don the Con sounded pretty good. Much better face control than I was expecting.

What’s the word in the Dairy State? Is the lead in the polls real this time, or do you think DJT takes it again? What about Mich. and Pa.?

What’s the word in the Dairy State? Is the lead in the polls real this time, or do you think DJT takes it again? What about Mich. and Pa.?
WI, MI, Pa, didn't you hear him say he got back B1G10 football lolmaolol

Speaking of historical rant lolmaolol, james vs Spoelstra/Riley in the Finals.

I wish the stiffo moderator would shut his mouth when DJT mentions things the media won't share. Let the contestants swing. Let the people watch.

Pretty sure the dairy farmers pull through again, but not quite a lock like you cattle ranchers.

There's no nutritional credibility to paleo dieting. In fact it's probably just a response to organized agricultural practices inclusive up to the modernized commercial landscape of today.

I got a little handheld sander that works well on dry heels, and got rid of a glacier of blister that had been on my feet since Hawaii.

The instructions say to wash your feet prior to using it, but frankly I think it does a pretty good job at getting any impurities off the skin lol.

Took the 95's for a test drive today on the flat. New improvements to back arching are taking to it well and I am very close to whatever it was I thought I was doing way back before Covid took place but with more promising form and no clicking in the shoulder.

Wondering if anyone knows precisely how much that type of flooring helps for stuff like 350 lb deadlifts. Like can you have a pretty bad foundation that would otherwise fall apart?

The floor underneath is cement. The rubber is 1/2". Mats with a full 1" are available, but I didn't think they were required.

I wouldn't think a 350 lb deadlift would be an issue.

But also I don't drop my deadlifts from lockout like everyone seems to do these days.

Definitely. Flooring only helps the surface. gotta be smart

His looks like possibly a basement. My rubber flooring was on a dining room hardwood floor. But I also didn't drop anything on the floor. Rows were bb style and deads were all rdls.
