Kanki and his boys will definitely rape her this arc. The rage that came during the hinted Ten gangbang cliff hanger won't even be close to how the fans react to Kyoukai getting done in while Shin is forced to watch. I don't read light novel, not because I don't want to, but because very few are actually translated. I've watched SOOOOO many anime that was a LN adaptation only for it not to get a second season. So many stories I'll never know how it ends.

Yeah I'll do the same thing. Watch a chit ton of anime for a few months, then the next few play games or watch real life content. And then a couple months replaying Mass Effect over and over.....

Currently playing a bunch of Overwatch, watching Hannibal (f*cking AMAZING show) and House of Cards, very little anime.

Seriously, give Hannibal a shot, I goddamn love Mikkelsen in everything he's in, such a good bad guy.

Angels and Demons, solid book. One of the worst movie adaptations I can think of. So much stuff was cut, hell the Hassassin was turned into a nerdy white dude who had almost no presence or screentime instead of the imposing, badass Arab guy in the book. Was a great anatagonist, nah lets just cut him out and give you pasty mcf*ck instead, for 12 seconds. Such a great opportunity for a good film, phucking ruined.

I mean Arslan has war, some strategy, mature themes for an anime like slavery, rape, developing story and characters. Sure its not perfect, but it certainly feels a lot less like a one dimensional cookie cutter shounen compared to BnH.
I feel like the only one who can't help but see BnH as a show for kids. I haven't watched much, but it just ticks so many boxes of things I hate in shounens way too quickly.

Boku no hero is definitely a kiddie show

BnH is a show for kids. Doesn't make it any less hype doe.

The anime has a few super hype scenes. At this point I find the main character and his lack of confidence the most obnoxious part of the series.

His attitude does well to sell the zero to hero trope but if the show gets a S2 I really hope All Might dies and Deku pulls a Simon from TTGL.

well, you didn't mention Kaiji so that is probably your next best choice. Akagi is good as well.
