Long time no post. Been doing things. Got me an online trainer back in February to plan my workouts and meal plan for me. Needed that kick in the ass to get back o the old Nuh. Been going good. On week 7 of 8 starting today. Love for lifting is back and I dropped 14 lbs so far. Only had one cheat so far. Stay safe Dirties!

Only Birmingham has been "shut down" here since they have the largest number of cases. We currently do not have any in my county BUT... we just got test here on Monday so I am sure that will change. Still working but doors locked and no public access. Gym is still open also. Owner stated he wasn't closing unless he was made to close. Everyone in there keeps their distance and cleans the equipment after they took it. If they do close I have a key that I will use. Be heading there in about 45 minutes. One of the other gyms here closed so my buddy is joining mine for now. Told him if it closes I would rearrange my workout time so I can let him in and workout while I am there. He works for the beer place here so hopefully he will hook me up on some free Ultras. Lol. Stay safe y'all!

Yea, I get why your gym isn't closing, but at the same time, will that spread the virus? I'm torn between being isolated/social distancing/closing businesses, to exercising caution on our own, and keeping businesses open. I think it's because there is so much that we don't know about this virus. For example, a teen died recently in CA from it, and had no preexisting conditions, so...we don't know everything.

We (my firm) learn by Friday, if we are gonna be furloughed. I kind of don't care...lol It might be a nice break, because in my line of work (marketing and advertising) no one is really looking at that right now until this clears up.

Sooo many friends of mine have been laid off.

Can't believe what my gym being closed is doing to my physical and mental health. I would gladly disinfect anything before and after use and stay clear of anyone. Had a few half assed workouts outdoors and in my basement gym but that's just not cutting it for me.

Feeling the same way. And my body is still craving the same amount of food I eat when lifting and doing cardio daily.

Have been hearing that a lot of New Yorkers are coming down south to escape CV19, and they're thinking of putting the National Guard at the airports in Florida. Crazy times, ya'll.

Never air conditioned my house Crew checking in, if it's hot, wear less clothes and lay in front of a fan like I did when I was a kid.

Last fall I bought a used Haier A/C with some SRS cooling power. It cools the the entire downstairs of my 2k square foot with ease for about $100/month. It's nice to come in from yardwork or banging a wrench on a motor when it's 90 degrees and humid to a chilly house. Whet kills me is coming in to see a kid under a blanket, on the couch staring at a phone.

Paying $100 for the A/C, $50 for your phone and if I need you to come turn a key while I pour some gas in the carb, you're "busy."

Couldn't live without my AC. I work in a metal shop with fans only, gets hotter than hell at times. So nice to come home to the coolness when it's 90+ outside.
