I started playing guitar three years ago with a $40 piece of **** that was in my garage for 15 years. Won a $500 gift card and decided to put it towards a new guitar. Couldnt have made a better choice. It feels so good knowing I found something I am talented at. I used to think I wasn't good at anything SRS.

Probably this^. I actually just resold mine though. I'm moving and it'll be easier not to have to deal with moving that stuff. Plus I'll be getting a free membership to the YMCA through my next job assignment so I don't really need the home gym anymore.

It was very helpful for many years though, especially when my kids were little. I never missed a workout because I had to do XYZ for the kids or whatever. I would either workout after they went to bed or let them play in the area while I worked out. Not really an issue anymore since they're older now and don't live with me full time.

Me? of course when I bought my fist home gym followed by getting my first gym membership to LA Fitness when I lived in Long Beach for $6 a month by passing out flyers at 14 years old.

Mom was pissed I got the membership by myself for myself...carving out that self individualism at an early age.
