    5 weeks into cutting results! (pics)

    Currently 5 weeks into a cut to get to 10%bf, which I am doing before I go onto an 8 month bulk after the holidays so that I don't look like **** when I gain fat. Bulked for 3 months before I started to gain all the muscle I lost last year due to an injury. gained about 20lbs lol.
    Its my first cut and I started at about 184lbs 16%bf and I think Im around 13% currently at 176lbs. I predict I have to lose another 4 lbs of pure fat or so to reach my goal.

    I've been super strict with my macros and my arms are still about 15.6 inch flexed (cold), so Im pretty sure I haven't lost any muscle. Pics are taken in normal crappy lighting totally relaxed
    but yeh, open to answer any questions or receive advice

    It's impossible to tell precisely by pictures when you take flunctuating water retention, varying levels of skin thickness, lightning and other factors into account. Use joint measuring, bodyweight and performance to track your progress. Looks like it's going great, keep it up.

    well I'm around about 6 foot and aim to take in about 240g of protein, 160g of carbs and 70g of fats a day.

    I actually used the customised meal planner on scoobys website as a starting point and just changed a few things on it. you can change how many calories you want to eat a day and it changes all the grams of the foods in the table. Its pretty awesome! honestly check it out.

    I eat 3 chicken breasts a days, egg whites and my main source of fats and carbs are oats and nuts/peanut butter. I weigh all this using an electric measuring scale. I eat as much as I need, depending on the activity I do daily and aim for that 500 cal deficit.

    Workout days I eat 2400 cals. rest days about 2000.

    Yeh I agree to some degree. i mean the reason Im cutting now is so that Im ready to go on a massive bulk and still look decent if I gain fat. Before cutting, I just wanted to gain lost muscle. Its a really bad picture, but in real life at that weight as opposed to a picture where you can't really compare my body size to anything and considering my height, I looked pretty big and was technically overweight lol. If I take a pic with me in a doorframe for example, I look quite good

    GJ, was cardio part of your game?
    I walk to and from the gym, which is about 3 miles 5 times a week when I go to the gym. Thats about it regarding cardio. Other than that, I just spend my training days lifting for an hour, keeping my sets, reps and intensity the same as before I started cutting. If I want to burn more calories, I just do a few extra sets or something

    Making good progress buddy. I'd suggest aiming to get less then 10% before starting an 8 month bulk. The leaner you are when you start the better gain you'll have towards LBM
