Hey all..
I'm a 19 year old male like a lot of people here and I'm into bodybuilding, I love it.. Diet and training, all amazing.
However, at my age, all my mates go out nights out and drink. I don't want to drink due to alcohol hindering progress.. Sadly, I always feel like I'm missing out. I don't want to be the guy that gets segregated from the group and no longer ever invited because they presume I'll say no.
I would go and not drink but it is so tedious and awful being in bars and clubs sober!!
Does anyone else feel like I do? How do you deal with it?

I've suffered from the same issue, not exactly, but the grind vs the social life dilemma. I would say both in moderation, you can't have only one. Go out with the guys once a weekend or every other weekend. Prioritize your goals but also have fun. I can't imagine one "cheat" night can set you too far back.

It's funny cause they'll criticize you for not going out now, but a few years down the line they'll be asking for your advice. Keep pushing, stick to your goals and to your vision, and never give in.
