Ok I'm going to finally start another log. It's been awhile... Since last time, I look a bit stronger and I'm a stronger deadlifter. But I'd love some help, hoping some accountability will cultivate some discipline. (the cool thing to say right now)
Goal of this log:
Lose fat. I think I'm around 205lbs right now at 6'. I think I need to be around 170-180lbs and I'd like to be around 12% BF. (Currently probably ~25%) The numbers aren't important though, only the mirror matters.
Other goals:
- Someday wanna compete in PL. I like the sport and the community. I like watching people lift.
- Start recreating one of my college games in Unreal Engine 4.
- Pay off tons of student debt. I'll probably log the amount I pay off each month just for kicks
- Get better at Ultimate Frisbee, hopefully join a league.
- Learn more Spanish. I've been to 9 countries in the last 5 years, 5 of which were Spanish speaking countries. It's time.
- Study business to help with starting a game company someday. (Currently completed 1 business audio book, crunching through another one right now)

I've lighted these up due to excessive back fatigue and knee issues.
Barbell Press 50 Reps over 5-6 sets
1x10 90lbs
4x10 95lbs
Cable Rows: 122.5lbs 50 reps over 5-6 sets
Standing Cable Crunch: 3x8 60lbs
Row Machine: 7 minutes
Today's Macros:
Current Nutrition Strategies:
- No carbs at work unless it is pre-workout. We really good free food at work. Very hard to stay out of it and once the flood gates are open... Oh man. At the same time, I notice training seems to go better when I have carbs PWO. So after a long day at work, I'll grab a cookie/candy bar/whatever else is free before my next workout.
- My roommates are aware of my goals. I asked them to help enforce no eating after dinner.

Buenos dias guys. Yesterday was not a gym day sadly, I had something I needed to deal with after work.
Activity:
50 minutes of Ultimate Frisbee.
50 minutes of really easy dancing.
Nutrition:
~2800 Calories
Average Daily intake this week is 2442 Calories.
... Well that's not good. Coming in a lot higher then I wanted AND I'm just guessing how much I hate. I realize it is ridiculous to post failure on Day 2 of a log. But this will certainly be the exception not the rule. I will likely run low today and tomorrow to bring the average back down to my target calories for the week. That is ~2200.
Other:
3 Duolingo Spanish Lessons Complete.
2 Unreal Engine 4 Lessons Complete.
Today is a big training day and some more Ultimate Frisbee!

My real goal is to live in central america for a couple of months and attend Spanish school. You can live in Guatemala and attend Spanish School for cheap. It would be about 4 hours a day of Spanish lessons, but you're pretty fluent after 2 months.
The soonest I would be doing that though is a year out when I may be unemployed. Duolingo is fun.. but very limited on the speech lesson side of things.SF Bay Area Crew

That's something and I totally respect the amount of work you put into learning even that much.

Good evening friends! Finally home after a super long day at work.... Missed frisbee because of work fires. So stupid. Hoping to play at least twice more this week.

- Went too heavy on the last set and I should have done a drop set, but I was so close to 225 paused I couldn't help myself. I will back off to 215 next week methinks.

Yeah. At least for Squats internet says that could be a few things:
1. Weak core, inability to use core.
2. Inability to properly brace.
4. Weak quads.
5. All the above.
I've tried many a thing to fix this. I've been mostly focused on 1 and 2 for the passed several months which is why I try to make sure there is core work in every workout now. It is quite depressing knowing you've been training the same tiny weights for the past year+....... Bench is a whole other animal. But I barely have time to train what I do train.SF Bay Area Crew
