Game looks and sounds great on PC. Getting solid 60-ish FPS on a 970 at 1440p High/auto settings. Game is just beautiful.

Really disappointed with the game play though. In a way its even more chaotic than BF4. Why the fuk is everyone running around with full auto's, and to a lesser extent semis when the VAST majority of weapons should be bolt actions and pistols? I get its to make the game faster paced, but then whats the point of the WWI setting then? MG's of the time were extremely unreliable and expensive, and those that werent were heavy, emplacement guns. I'm sure it'll be more popular this way, but its not what I wanted.

Glad I learned that during the beta as I've been trying to avoid trailers and gameplay footage.

This is a triple A game, no way in hell they were gunna sink that much money into the game and make it only bolt actions and pistols. I can fuk people up with the sniper rifles though, don't need full auto if you play it right.


Edit: yeah they just went down a minute or two ago :/ Just got a new medic gun, can't remember it's name but it's hnng as fuk, 10 shot scoped semi-auto with a bipod.

brb just learning that you can press v to adjust your sniper from 75m to 150m to 300m. Here i was thinking my hit detection was off when i was doing 200m shots. waste like 30 shots on a guy from every angle . then i switch to 150m and boom first shot hit

Does this play like a reskinned Battlefront or does it actually have some WWI realism? The twitch streams I saw had guys running around super fast with automatic guns. I was hoping for something a little bit more realistic to the time period considering we haven't gotten a good old war game in while.

Its been fast paced for awhile now. This is how you get more casuals who just run n gun. Add in strong aim assist and you can bunny hop all-day long, dropping some one on a dime.

I know a lot of games let you turn it off, are there not any options for that in the beta?

Turn it off for what? So I can be at a big disadvantage? It needs to be toned down heavily for everyone or removed altogether from Hardcore.

Yeah especially if you've been playing other fps for awhile, I've been playing siege and it's taken me 3 hours of BF1 to get comfortable.

Yeah half the match was spent running around trying to find someone by the objectives and then getting sniped lol.

Yeah, I saw that it kicked you from game, and then no one could join I guess. Just played a 3v2 rush match because of it... Felt so bad about reking their tanks, I hopped out of mine to go infantry.

tryin to reconnect is even worse "timed out" all the time. Matchmaking doesnt work. Manually selecting servers pretty much doesnt work either. Finally managed to join a game. Got 4 kills, then started twitching and rubberbanding because of lag and as the enemies planted c4 on my mini tank i got disconnected.
10/10 would public launch again

Game play is too fast. (coming from guy that played call of duty 4 with not attachments/uav/chopper allowed servers)

So I have an interesting issue. Tried looking it up but nothing yet.

I can't run the game at native resolution 1920x1080 60hz. It trys to run at 60i which looks and performs like ass. I had to scaled down to 1600x900 to get 60 hz and it too look correct.

Never had this issue in Battlefield 4.

System specs are
i7-2600
8GB ram at 1300mhz
Nvidia 760gtx
Monitor is just a Samsung 27" standard 1080p monitor.

In game scaling is set to 42% (which apparently=100%.)

I've tried messing with all in game options, also I have repaired and reinstalled through origin.

EDIT* Problem above still persists. Just wanted to give my 2 cents on the gameplay I was able to get in. So far I like it. I've liked every Battlefield except for Hardline though. I'm not finding the tanks that OP. I just hop on a cannon while they are distracted and blow them to kingdom come. I am downloading it on Xbox one and will give both platforms ample chances before I decide.

Downloaded it on the XBone. It was fun. When i could play a match. The servers are horrible and ive spent more time on a cannot connect to EA servers screen than i have in game.

It's a power thing, they're beta *******s who have no social or physical power when they aren't using a computer to try and disrupt other peoples enjoyment, they get off on that feeling of control and power.
