Last week I made a thread about a new intern in our finance department who 'was eager to work and excel in a dynamic environment'.
Well, we gave him a simple project on Friday that was due yesterday morning.
Guess what? He still hasn't finished it, and I don't think he will be done by tomorrow.
I estimated the project to be roughly 20 hours long, for someone inexperienced.
If it was me, I would have ensured that the project would be fully finished by the given deadline no matter what.
Kid can't even prove himself and already made a bad impression on me. I don't think he will be getting a full-time offer, not to mention any recommendations from me.
Wouldn't be surprised if he believes he's doing well.
This generation is doomed.

OOO I called it! I called it! Well that you would make a thread saying millenials have no work ethic.

All I know about this millenial generation is that they are the laziest at finding jobs.
"I can't find a job"
- applies to 1 job a week and doesn't follow up
"I can't believe that guy gets paid that much"
- Coworkers been there for 20 years and worked their way up.
"I just want to have this job"
- zero job experience and hasn't even done anything on an entry level position.
BRB libs still stick up for the laziest mofos no matter whatNDSU Crew
Kansas City Royals Crew
Winnipeg Blue Bombers Crew
Over the Top is the GOAT Movie Crew
HTC 4 life brother!!!

My work ethic is horrible at my internship
brb nobody gives a chit about you
brb smarter than your aspie boss who micromanages the phuk out of you
brb try to hype up bish work they're giving you to make you feel special
brb you know deep down that you're doing work nobody else wants to do or busy work
brb don't need the money, doing it for experience and name on resume
brb rotting in an office cubicle all day
Seriously OP if you're hiring an intern don't expect them to give it their all. It's hard to get motivated for a job you hate. I've had good reviews from all my minimum wage jobs because surprisingly they were 100 times better than my internship.

I agree OP, I can't stand these ****ing millenials. I swear to God, back in my day we didn't have these entitled kunts always checking their time on their phones. Then we get kind enough to allow them into our spheres (i.e. unpaid internships) where we give them useless, meaningless tasks, and they can't even figure that out!
I bet these kids don't even lift. Good on you OP though, keeping true work ethic alive. This country is so ****ed for the future.
