What can be the equivalent of heavy weights with low reps?

I have light weight dumbbells, what can I do to make them feel heavy, like can I do pre exhaust or post exhaust etc training techniques so that when I lift my light weight dumbbells, it feels like I'm lifting 60 lbs dumbbells. What I'm looking for is, to get the same body as you get with lifting heavy weights and low reps, but using light weight dumbbells without putting too much stress on bones and joints.

So what techniques like pre exhaust or post exhaust etc can I include in my workout with light weight dumbbells to get the same results as with lifting heavy weights and low reps?

What can be the equivalent of heavy weights with low reps?

Add more weight? You can't make it have more weight, without adding more weight.

You can tax your muscles in different ways by doing pre-exhaust work/etc, yes.

That's a pretty ridiculous post Indy. That's not how it works.

Buy heavier DB's or get a gym membership.

--The proper plural form of the Latin adjective biceps is bicipites, a form not in general English use. Instead, biceps is used in both singular and plural (i.e., when referring to both arms). The form bicep [sic], although common even in professional contexts, is considered incorrect. (from Wikipedia)

equivalent of heavy weights with low reps is heavy weight with low reps. just because you are creating fatigue with low intensity activity to make the light weight feel heavy, doesnt mean you are lifting heavy. you are just doing cardio. people with big physiques are big because they lift heavy weights. if it can be done with light weights then people would do it , you cant be the first one to think about this in history right ?
