No choice of doing it, but a little choice as to when I do it. Squats will commence immediately following work

    Do you drink alcohol?

Although not a lot. I might have a glass of wine about once a week regularly, and then more when there is a special event. Both my jobs are very much booze related

It's a little harder for me, as that is our business (beer & cider) as well as my job (wine). But I do better when I am focusing on meeting my macros, it keeps me more on the straight and narrow and has me prioritize nutrition first so I can fit booze in, and then it keeps me from going overboard with the booze too. If I can only fit in 3 oz. I will limit it there.

The squat princess keeps rolling in those PRs, damn girl!

Same with the alcohol non-excitement for me too. Just seems to screw up the training and too many crappy calories.

I don't like the taste of alcohol. Now, a good mixed drink is another story. I enjoy Daiquiris, Washington Apple's, and the like. Too lazy to mix at home though, and rarely go out anywhere to drink. I think I had one drink on the Alaska cruise. If Washington Apple's came pre-made though . . . .

I prefer mixed drinks too, though red wine can be ok (sangria though, omg), and I do drink the non-beer beers like Twisted Teas.
I also don't mix at home, unless it's lazy like booze plus soda or juice. I'd love to make a sangria myself though, because that's just throwing chit in a pitcher, and waiting.

Thanks lady! My last squat testing was in April though so not expecting another one until the end of the year, but Wade could surprise me. Based on previous cycle, I won't get to PR weight again until December. Wine and cider are actually pretty low in calories Mixed drinks on the other hand.....

If they did, they wouldn't be as good

    Squats 8/22
    PR: 200x1 8/15/17

    Comp Stance Squat
    45x8
    65x5
    95x3
    115x1
    6x125x2

    Close Stance Squat
    3x95x6

    Paused Squats
    2x105x3

    Wide Stance Squat
    2x70x10

    Seated Leg Curl
    3x115x12

    Seated Calf Raise
    3x110x15

Yay for the start of a new cycle. Weight wise it's a deload, but it's amazing how higher reps and/or skipping all my squat variations for a week hits my muscles. I'm not hobbling, but I can feel them

I did have a photo bombing moment during paused squats A friend of mine came in during my set and then sat on my camera (to be fair, I use the seat of the calf machine that hardly anyone uses) It was weird though, maybe it threw him off because he only did one set and then left the gym

I know what you mean, you know how I deload, everything hurts when I get back in. Some weeks I'll just change or swap an exercise, and it'll hurt like hell when I go back.
