Sorry things are chitty, I hope they get better soon. Hang in there.

It might come to that. I have a couple more things to try, including a bucket of ice water to dip my hand in for 10 seconds at a time...
<3 Muah!
Yes, I am still alive. Barely. Still dealing with tendonitis in my wrist/thumb. Been to four sessions of acupuncture, doing topical and oral anti inflammatories, icing multiple times a day, and now I'm doing myofacial release with ice. Both ortho and acupuncturist told me to completely rest it which I did for two weeks. I'm over it. I will try one more week of therapy but next week it looks like I'll have to go in for a cortisone shot.
Then I got sick. Thursday and Friday felt gross, Saturday and Sunday my throat was killing me. Monday I started to feel better, and then my nose started running Tuesday. I did get in a gym session on Tuesday but now I'm fighting the runny nose and cough. I'm sure nobody wants to be near me.
The good news is that the restaurant management part of my job is over and I'm way more motivated to eat healthier, which hasn't been the case all this winter. It's snowing today but I think we're past the horrific storms which makes my schedule a bit easier to manage. It won't happen this week, but I have high hopes for four workouts next week!!!!
Bench 4/17
Flat Bench, Medium Grip
bench
45x8
55x6
65x4
75x3
3x100x3 paused
Set 1 touchpoint kept moving down, set 2 lost some tightness, set 3 pauses got short.
Incline Bench
3x70x8
Started with a higher incline and then moved it down.
Skipped everything else because wrist issue means I can't grip well. I should have done shrugs with the barbell and maybe rows though. Dumbbells bother me but I can usually hold barbells at those weights with my fingers only. Progress not perfection?Proud member of Team Ogre. That's Ms. Ogre to you! ;)

Food strategy. So I've been super crappy at tracking, at eating a reasonable amount, making good choices, etc. So right now I'm not tracking, but I am working on drinking enough water, eating 6+ servings of veggies a day, and not drinking (at least for a month).
I also need to do my abs.Proud member of Team Ogre. That's Ms. Ogre to you! ;)

pfft abs are overrated. ;-)
That's quite the amount of veggies. I get some but still... Good luck with all that and have fun even with the not drinking for a month. Hope the hand is doing okay though understand it can be a struggle at times with these kinds of issues.Gym Max: 225/126/275
