As for Jimmy, I think he does a better job of reading the defense/knowing where to go with the ball--than a lot of QB's. It just often comes out either too late or too inaccurately.

I don't think Jimmy is a known commodity. He looked like a top 10 guy in 17. He looked like a top 15 guy in 19. The current iteration of Jimmy is probably viewed as a top 20-25 QB in this league which isn't worth a second (IMO). There is a lot of tape available but he has looked like a very different player in 17 when he was a gunslinger to 19 when he was a conservative player. The argument for him is that he's never fully been healthy since his injuries and is still the same guy in 17.



Yeah. I think the argument for Jimmy G is that he is still that dude and injuries held him back. IMO - He's over 30 and has a long injury history so I probably view it more negatively than most because I don't think the track record of coming back from these type of injuries are great. But it only takes 1 GM to view it differently.

I think 5-0 is a sufficient sample. I just don't think it's that relevant after 4 years of not returning to that level.

Had a bigger reply typed up but it fuked up when posting so I'll keep it short.

Sam Bradford is a great reminder how sometimes supply and demand dictate things. We'll see how the season finishes up and the movement that happens with the other proven QBs(Rodgers to Denver seems like a destiny if he doesn't retire)

Well whatever happens Sunday I just want to say I’m proud of this team. Its been a rollercoaster year for sure but finishing it off with huge wins in LA, in Dallas and in Green Bay has made this a great season.

Well whatever happens Sunday I just want to say I’m proud of this team. Its been a rollercoaster year for sure but finishing it off with huge wins in LA, in Dallas and in Green Bay has made this a great season.

Yes I was dooming hard at the start of the season but they've hung in there and Kyle deserves a lot of praise. I'm excited to see where we go from here

I know. I was just lol'ing because of my background with Jeff Garcia. My Dad says I'm the worst football scout in history because I used to come home from tennis practice and tell him that there's this red haired guy who thinks he's a QB and he's really not big enough to get the job done. 1. Jimmy G still has a shoulder issue or he is like a starting mlb pitcher that can only go 4 innings in each outing.
2. you cant bounce balls in front of nfl receivers.
3. #51, your stupid 15 yard penalty cost us a touchdown.
4. Can no one cover Cooper Cup, is he some untouchable human being.
5. why are you running the ball for negative yardage or no gain, try something else.
6. Jimmy do you dislike 2nd halves of superbowls, and crucial playoff games.

Great assessment. Definitely acted like he was untouchable and Jimmy can’t seem to keep going very well in second halves. I guess Jimmy will head elsewhere.

The amount of 3rd and long conversions our secondary allowed was fooking embarrassing ! Deebo is amazing, but cot damn don't use him on every damn play!!!Jimmy has the agility of jason genova in the pocket!!

Now let's see what Trey can do.

Loling pretty hard that a complete team missing an above average QB to be a SB team, has trey lance as the next man up

We got out coached this game. Defense had some moments but wasn't able to do enough. Offense could not run and that made Jimmy through the ball. The oline got their $hit pushed in. We will see what happens during the off season and with Lance.

Great season, can't be too mad. Our oline got dominated, our dline wasn't elite...we needed both to be dominant to win. If Tartt catches that INT, we win...reminded me of Kyle Williams.

everybody talking about how Tartt missed the easy INT but ignoring how ben skowronek dropped what should have been an easy TD, kupp dropping another big play and Matt Gay missing a 40 yarder, ramsey missing an int as well and higbee and akers out most of the game.

That was a tough loss to swallow. Game right there for the taking but another team loss. Lots of things went wrong in the 4th that cost us.

Offense disappearing
Jimmy panicking( i don't even blame him for the terrible pick cuz he was trying to throw up a prayer vs having 4th and 20+)
Kyle getting getting too cute on 2nd and 1/3rd and 2 and then not going for it on 4th and 2
Tartt dropping the pick
Ward with the stupid penalty
Defense struggling to get off the field on 3rd down

And a few more I'm probably forgetting.

Hats off to the Rams for finally shutting down our running game and forcing Jimmy to beat us and using the quick pass to beat our defense and keep our DL from wrecking things. And yet with all that...game was still there for us to take at the end and we just didn't get it done.

It sucks but at the same time there is a lot of good to take from this season. Nobody thought we'd be in this spot getting smoked at home by Arizona backups.

Big thing now is trying to retain all of our key free agents. Hope that we can get something for Jimmy via trade and hope Trey is the real deal.

Future of this team is still bright. If Trey can reach anywhere near his potential this team will be winning SBs in the near future but they had #6 within reach and let it get away.

What a disappointment to blow a game like that. We can't play with a lead in the second half, it's our achilles heel. Shany & Lynch need to find a way to get ARod here if we don't want to waste all the talent we have on this team. I have zero faith that Lance will develop to the likes of Mahomes or Allen.

Also using Deebo the way we are is exciting but puts him at a greater risk to get on IR. Would hate to see him shorten his career because we are trying to use gimmicks to make up for the flaws behind center.

I feel like the 49ers give up conversions on 3rd and long more than anyone else. The titans game seemed like every drive would be 3rd and 5+ and they'd throw it to Brown for a first down.
