Jimmy G has had enough time to show that he's not getting any better. He's inconsistent, and hasn't shown that he can be anything else. It may be do to injuries but part of being a good QB is not being injured. Dude just doesn't take care of himself

Kittle/Deebo can take off rest of the season as far as I care, let them rest up and be ready for next year. 2020 is cursed

Sorry if this has been discussed, but what are the chances Jimmy isn't signed back with the 49ers? Speculation of a Patriot reunion next season. While Jimmy is probably an average QB, it would be a huge upgrade from Cam.

Well Jimmy is under contract for a few years so either the 49ers will have to cut him or trade him. I don't see them cutting him. He is a decent QB when healthy.

I think that's just it. Options for a decent QB are slim. Jimmy G was the "decent QB option" and we thought he was going to be more than that

We can win with him with a stellar defense and everyone else operating at full throttle, we were one quarter away from it last year. But he's not a QB that can put this broken team on his back

I think our best option for the future is going to be to try and draft a good QB and build during his first few years.

This was a great win though. Kind of bittersweet because I think putting more wins together and snagging a wildcard spot is a little too tall of an order, so we are just getting further down in the draft order. But man it's been a tough season to watch

It's awesome to see more guys come back healthy, we need to keep that trend going

Saleh is gone at the end of the year. He has had his ups and downs but he's putting together a nice defense considering all of the injuries he's dealt with. Not having your two top pass rushers for the entire year is brutal.
