6 Years of LDR worth it?

My gf and I are both 18. She's going to Uni in HK while I have to serve national service in the army for two years before I can go to Uni for another 4. So thats a minimum of 6 years before we can get back together. She's all for it but 6 years is fuarkin long and idk how I can do without the sexors. We both indian so she won't cheat guarranteed.
Is it worth it?

son, i've done plenty of LDR and I am in one right now and I can tell you 100% without a doubt that they are never, ever worth it.

You're 18... Y'all need to drop it, and pursue other opportunities. Could be right person wrong time, but hey they say if you love someone let them go, if they come back it's meant to be. So, look her up in 6 years and see what happens, until then, live your life and be happy.

Did six years of a LDR - at the end, we were essentially fuark buddies and nothing else.

Decided to can it, and moved on. You can't really maintain an effective relationship when you're far away from someone like that. You're 18 too - chit loads to do with yourself.

If you were older I'd say maybe it could work but there is much less of a chance when you're 18. With that said, you're the only one who can say if it's worth it to you.

'Worth it' is purely subjective, but if you wanted to know if the relationship will last that is purely dependent on the two of you. Personally I highly doubt it will last especially given the circumstances you both will be in, but it's ultimately up to you.
