It seems to me there should be a whey protein product for those who want to build muscle that contains fat (but not carbs.).
Fat appears to be significant for hormone production. Why wouldn't you want hormone production as the body is attempting to restore and grow muscle? It doesn't have to be a huge amount of fat relative to protein, perhaps 10-15%.
Have a good work out today.

Many protein powders contain very few carbohydrates. ON only has 3g carbs per 32g serving. Some powders, such as Syntha-6, have more carbs because it's more of a blend, meant to deliver more than just protein. And I could be wrong, but I don't think you'll get completely rid of carbs in protein powder because carbs occur naturally in the milk from which it's derived ( a serving of whole milk contains more carbs than either protein or fat).
As such, what's wrong with protein powder having some carbs? Your body requires carbs for all kinds of reasons, and you'll screw it up in all kinds of ways if you deprive it of carbs.

You do realize these are supplements right? it's a "Whey Protein" supplement, hence, the high protein content.
Weight gainers have high fat profiles but also high amounts of carbohydrates.
But the above is irrelevant when not in context of your overall daily intake.“One of the greatest experiences in life is achieving personal goals that others said would be, ‘impossible to attain.’ Be proud of your success and share your story with others.” -Robert Cheeke

OP, I'd suggest just mixing in some PB to your shake.
I'll usually throw in a banana too, but you seem to be wanting to skip the carbs.Myprotein's Official Bodybuilding.com Lead Representative ✔
