    Unhappy Barbell Bench (Chest) Press: Un-even Barbell press

    Hi guys. When I do a barbell press using a 25 lbs barbell (which is moderate for me), I notice that it goes up uneven if I do it at regular pace. It does lean on one side particularly- sometimes it leans on right and sometimes on left. If I do it pretty slowly, then I can straighten it out. But that takes too much time as I have to do 6 sets of 12 reps (3 wide grip, 3 close). Any tips? Don't recommend dumbbell because I don't like using Dumbbells for chest at all.

    Sounds like your supportive muscles(stabilizer) havent been getting worked out or havent fully developed yet. I know you said you dont like doing dumbbells for chest, but thats exactly how I fixed mine when I had this problem. Could also be your form. Your press shouldnt be to fast anyway, should have complete control in the lift the whole time. Slow down explosive up.
