I know, and am one of, people who've recovered from eating disorders. We agree that calories on a menu isn't a trigger. Personally, I'm more likely to have issues with eating if I'm just depressed. Some don't count cals, they just stick to rituals to eat less, or are afraid of all food, menus aren't the problem, and it undermines how complex EDs really are. It annoyed me that some HAES ******* will try to act like they know what's bad for people with EDs than people who have EDs.
The rest who cry because they feel ashamed, well, that's your problem. That means you feel ashamed, you feel you eat too much, you feel your weight is a problem. Otherwise you'd walk in, order what you want, and go eat it without giving half a damn. If you have a problem with yourself, and your diet, don't blame calorie counts, because those calories are there whether you see the number or not. Other people should be able to make informed choices, not have to hide information that makes you confront your choices.
I don't drink it unless I'm eating out (even then, sometimes I'll get lemon water), and then it's diet because I don't like wasting calories on soda, and I don't mind the diet version. Soda just makes me more thirsty later, and I feel I need to drink a gallon of water, lol.I don't crave pop to often but when I do all I want is a bit.
They are good. I only played the demo for the first, and plan to get it. The second is my favorite. The third is a lot different, but still interesting, and fun in it's own ways.Heard good things about the bio shock games. My game rotation is the same the Fallouts, Skyrim, with a little Oblivion and Morrowwind sprinkled in. I just never get bored enough from theses games to buy anything new. My last game I bought was Civilizations V
I stopped playing Mass Effect 2 (haven't finished the game yet, fairly recent purchase) just to play through BS2, because I missed it so much.
Though Mass Effect are good games too. Shooter meets RPG, though I hear the last one was a huge turd, because the company fluffed around so much in production.

All of this.

Some people wanting to blame their problems and issues on others. Burger King made my fat, well no dear you made own self fat. No sense of personal responsibility. And this out rage over stupid crap needs to stop.

Yeah that was quite the fiasco with the recent Mass Effect. They took a much beloved series and just massacred the the hopes and dreams of all the fans by releasing a boring, buggy piece of crap. 60 buck for an unfinished game. Not to mention all the political rumbling involved.

Did not get to lifting yesterday. Bugged out about some stuff and total said screw it. Getting up too early after not hardly sleeping threw off my constitution. Gotta take my Jeep in cause leaking coolant. Its a 2002 so yeah a little elderly. I have been so lucky though. Only ever had to put tires on it twice , a set of breaks, and replace the battery. 96,000 miles on it. Anyway I told my man I have to take it in. I still need to get to work and just assumed I could use his car while mine is gone We work opposite shifts. He got all bent out of shape, I guess he doesn't want me driving his precious Buick. And it's not a newer car either. I was pretty pissy about it. He expected me to call my boss and say i could not work on that day. Ah no. That is no excuse to miss work. WTF. Yeah still pretty salty about it today.
Did and extra bit of work last night after my first job so I did not get home until after 3. So technically I am still in morning mode at the present time. Trying to wake my ass up is proving to be a challenge. Food intake was a bit on the lower side so a bit hungry. Gonna get some food in me and do some lifting. Probably just deadlifts with no accessories. Maybe the deadlifts will put some life into me and I will feel like doing more. We will see.*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.

So just deadlifts today but decided to do two extra sets just for a little something extra. I want to push a little anyway. Just need to be careful. No warm-up because I was tired and did not want to. Used my grips for my last three sets, the hands were not playing nice today.

One more day and than two days off from work. I really wanted Friday off too but my boss could not get the shift covered. Someone just quit. I totally understand that being an ex employer myself. He did offer me any other paid day off in the future to compensate which he did not have to do. It will nice having an actual paid day off in the bank. Ii has been many week since I have had any day off. I am so ready.*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.

DUDE, you took all that time off and come back to do 185s???? That's awesome, I'm impressed. Very legit and careful warming up to that weight too.
I'm so excited for you to have days off! Re: your discussion of routine in my log, I hope you have ENOUGH structure to your days off that you can fully enjoy them, rather than doing what I sometimes do which is just crashing on my couch with Netflix and computer. -_- or videogames. Unless that's what you want. In which case full speed ahead and enjoy."The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously."

^^
Thanks! I was pretty surprised that my strength did not fall off more. I am along way until 240 though. Hopefully I can get there again.
I as well fall into a stupor of youtube and gaming on days off. I really don't want that to happen as I do believe it is counterproductive to my psyche. Some structure is needed. Plus I need to get some stuff done. I might even go outside*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.

All of my agrees to our calorie count discussion.
And yeah, I get older games used from Gamestop or Amazon and it's less than $6 most of the time. BS2 was $5 at GS. Dunno about Mass Effect 1 yet, I played the demos for two and three, so those were the ones I wanted to get sooner.

Smoked paprika is the GOAT seasoning. I coat my chicken in it every time, like a dry rub. (I'm still eating baked chicken breasts over here... don't look at me, I actually find them more satiating than more tender meat--more chew).

Yepper. That there flavor. My other go to's are curry and chipolte.
Hey no judgement here. My man is the same way, won't eat thighs, legs, or wings. All the chicken is mine
Can be used in many different applications that way. Chicken without fat is sad though.. But I understand the calorie concerns.*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.

Had a rough couple of days. The expense of the jeep and being without a vehicle for three days and one of my cats dyingthrew me off kilter mentally. I think I have simmered down so gonna try and get the lifting done today. Need to get back to normal mode. Well semi normal.

Thank-you. Pets do become part of family. Two pets dying in a year for me. Sucks hard for sure.
Jeep is a 2002 with 96,000 miles on it. Love, love, love that vehicle. It has been so dependable. Great in the winter because roads around here don't get plowed as they should. Also as a short girl I can sit up high and see over obstacles.
That is one hard working kid you got there proud pappa. Not many her age can accomplish such a thing.*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.

I'm really sorry about the cat. Plus having an issue with something that's so familiar (a car, an animal you've known for so long) can totally throw your whole routine off-kilter. HUGS.
I bet lifting would help you psychologically. It always does me. <3 hang in there."The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously."

Update
Jeep cost me more the I originally thought. 700 for a new radiator, cap, thermostat, and flush. And I have been working like a fool since Saturday so no lifting. Pretty much has been sleep until two, three hours wake up time, work until 2-3 am, three hours wind down time, sleep. Rinse and repeat. Boss needs to hire more peeps cause I am about tired of being the only person who can plus holes in the schedule. Hopefully tomorrow will be one four hour job, crosses fingers.*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.

I am sure the rent you pay is more than owning a car where you are.
That made me laugh.
Better times hopefully for next week.
Work normalized so that was good. Hopefully he can get some peeps hired. He needs probably two.
Seems I am not very good at this life game anymore, sigh. Trudges on in hope.
I am sure he wants this as well as he is picking up some of the work and he already does quite a bit.*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.
