    elbow most safe position

When doing dumbbell skullcrushers and/or dumbbell curl, in what position of the hands is the elbow joint the safest, and maybe strongest also.
    Neutral grip, supinated or pronated.

Probably supinated as it feels there is less strain on the elbow but I'm not exactly sure.

Pronated definitely never felt as strong and good to me.Especially when doing curls.
But neutral is also strong when doing skullcrushers.
    supinated feels good too.
But not in an extreme way like in the barbell curl.
The joints get forced into unnatural positions too much , for me , that is.

    Thanks for responding Jon.
