    Am I drinking too much?

I'm 24 and for the last 2 years I've had 2-4 beers every night. A dozen or so times during that time I got drunk, but every other night I have 2-4 (usually 3) beers. So basically I binge drink far less than most mid 20s but drink a couple/few every single night

It seems great I relax nightly and it seems to work great with my life and fitness goals, no danger of progressing to a drunk (I have no desire to keep drinking after 4 drinks) just wondering if a nightly dose of 3 standard drinks is really harmful to my liver

I wouldn't know about the medical aspect of your situation, but I don't see what GOOD continuing this comportment would do...

Stop now brah, it is better for your brain to have 14 beers one night and have 6 days off. Right now you are constantly depressing your brain with alcohol and so it is working over time to try and compensate, when you quit your brain is going to go crazy for a while.

Be careful with that, you don't want to saturate your liver and kill it off with all that alcohol.

I would try to cut back some. I've known people who started out with 2-3 drinks per day and now 20 years later, they are having 6+ drinks per day. It can be a slow progression into a problem, and even if you only drink 3 per night, that is quite a lot for you body to handle if you look at it long-term.

To be honest, alcohol is like an anti-bodybuilding shake. It can't be helping your goals. That being said, everything in moderation. Tone it down a bit IMO.

Three beers a night won't kill your liver or your brain. But doing it seven days a week seems a little overboard, you shouldn't need beer to relax even if you're not getting 'drunk'.

I'd cut back to 1 per day if possible...

If you're seriously having doubts and asking yourself (and others) this question, then the answer is most likely, "Yes, you are drinking too much."

Moderate drinking is good for your health and that's what youre doing. Just dont binge drink, and if you must binge drink then cut back on the daily drinking. From a bodybuilding perspective 0 alcohol is best, but looking the best you can doesnt always correlate to optimal health.
