Any of you guys ever ran Wendler's 5/3/1 program? I am looking for something new. Probably a bad time to change though since I am bulking for another 4-5 weeks then will maintain for about 2 weeks and then start my cut. I wish I had looked into the 5/3/1 sooner as it seems a lot of people have great results from it. If you have ran it could you share your thoughts? Thanks fellas!

I'm running it right now. Like you, I wish I had discovered it sooner. If you are planning on an aggressive cut, that might be a challenge as you progress beyond the first few waves.

I don't like to go on any more of a deficit than 500cal which puts me around 2200 per day give or take. I think mentally the harder thing for me is only lifting 4 days per week. I'm thinking the further I get into it, the harder it will get since I will be in a deficit. I may shelf that idea until end of summer bulk rolls around. Thanks for the advice man!

My personal opinion is that 5/3/1 wouldn't be optimal while cutting. It's really hard to make strength gains when in a calorie deficit and since the volume is really low in 5/3/1, you don't burn a huge amount of calories during your workout.

I would do a push/pull/legs/off repeat split when cutting.

Check out the program on bodybuilding.com dr Jacob Wilson put out. I think that program with some steady state cardio added would be an awesome cutting program

took car to dealer for maintenance
    17 miles away
    service took 2 hours
sipped on SciVation Green Apple BCAA
drove back (almost) all the way back home
forgot large SciVation shaker cup at dealer
called dealer and asked to keep shaker safe
turned and drove back (all 17 miles)
    got shaker back
    drove back home

no way I would leave that there

    Some Quake 10.0 info!

    Formula - 7g BCAA, 1g capros, 1500mg arginine nitrate, 2g PeakO2, 3g l-tyrosine, 1.5g l-carnitine l-tartrate, 6g citrulline, 200mg theanine, 350mg caffeine, 300mg AstraGin: per 2 scoops, offered in 20scoop and 40scoop sizes in both Watermelon Bubblegum and LemonDrop

1 scoop can be effective for our consumers who may be stim sensitive, prefer training at night, etc. No Yohimbine, no beta alanine and no creatine we were very particular on the raws that we selected for this pre-workout

    Pump Capros and Arginine Nitrate
Stim 350mg caffeine w/200mg theanine to smooth out crash
Delayed onset muscle soreness l-carnitine, l-titrate, BCAAs, and capros
This product addresses the neuro, stim, pump, and then PEAKO2! 3 more studies will be released this year on PEAKO2.
We included 2g, to enhance the ability to be stacked with our other products. QUAKE, stacked with whatever Xtend product fits your needs. 14g of BCAA is ideal! Use it with flagship, FREE, etc.
We would recommend a month or so of usage to see full effects. The idea is about finding the right dosage for people.
Caffeine free is available in lemon drop 20 scoop only missing caffeine only
Sensory you will sweat a lot! Capros!

When it first came out about 2 years ago I got a sample of each. I enjoyed all of them but it's hard to remember exactly. I am going for the Orange Cream Pop, with milk that stuff is killer. I plan to use it for my post workout smoothies. I like the odd ball flavors like that, you don't see that flavor in protein very often. That's one reason I also love Trutein, awesome flavors.

I'm fairly sensitive to caffeine so I would just use one scoop. That makes each tub last a long time.

175mg caffeine + 100mg theanine is pretty much the perfect amount of stimulants IMO.

For the reps who have gotten a chance to try Quake before it's been released - which flavour was your favourite?

you could also go the non stim route and buy caffeine tablets on the side to control caff intake (or even teacrine)
