Of course. Prior to 2012 I very rarely ate meat. My diet consisted mostly of lentils, legumes and dairy. So I could easily become a vegan for life if I wanted, but I eat meat everyday for dem gainz.

I dated a vegan for a bit in college and hopped on the vegan wagon for a few months. I was fine for the first week but after that I was getting my arse kicked in rugby, was more tired, less focused, and was plateauing hard on my lifts. Went back to meat and it was all alleviated within a few days.

Could I do it again for a week? Easy. Would I? Absolutely not.

Tastes great but it's not easy to get enough protein for bodybuilding purposes. 100 grams of kidney beans has only 10 grams of protein. Also, most of it is made up of carbs. You'd need to take protein supplements and amino acids as well.

Was kinda Lazy and didnt have time to shop for meat and had like a 15 bags of lentils well ....

Skin start to clear up a bit mmm strength was getting higher even though i was eating below maintenance lol

i don't really crave meet either. i couldn't give a fuk about a steak srs. but burgers and stuff like that i crave. there's some legit meat substitutes for when just need to have a cheese "burger"

there is a cafe in the building i work. Never got a burger there cuz it looked questionable. Since being vegitarian i have gotten there veggie burger atleast once a week

For me the biggest deal breaker wasn't even meat it was dairy products. The meat substitutes are at least somewhat legit if you smother them with enough stuff but vegan cheese is like eating old buttholes.

the hardest part will always be those little things that have like 1 egg or dairy for no reason. Like some pastries

this^ the ideal solution (for me since i care about enviroment mostly) would be eat vegan when you are alone, but dont be a ******* when you go out

I've gone long periods without eating any meet(but still had dairy + fish) and did not feel any different.
