Aw guys iagd, phoenix & anandagirl you've made me feel so much better about wearing my chains haha, as long as I look badass and not like a dominatrix on her way to work it's all good!
Not just deadlift day, deadlift singles day, yay funs
Warmed up to a triple at 120, 130 single and then wanted to improve on my meet 1 & 2 attempts and match my 3rd in the gym.
137.5
147.5
155 got it, not much grind, wasn't sure I'd get that tbh so well happy now cos if I can pull that in the morning in gym, I can def pull more in the afternoon with a DL bar and meet vibez
Filmed it, mainly for showing off purposes (although deadlift is an ugly ass lift to show people lol)
https://youtu.be/5I0RH7wBkTE
note my muted reaction to getting it
Box squats 4x85, 4x90, 3x95, 2x100
Leg raises with 5kg 2x10 then planks and nice easy low vol day done.retired from powerlifting, retired from the misc

Lulz for the support of my skiving ladies
Finally got in the gym this afternoon yay. Hmm having a passionate affair is not very conducive to lifting it seems, but my passionate affair to lifting ratio is really poor, so I must persevere?
On the other hand I probably wouldn't even be banging said 23 yr old if I didn't have a powerlifting ass so idk....
Squat day
Fancied some volume so I did 5x5
80,85,90,95,100 missed last rep on 100
RDL 3 sets of 5 - 100,110,110
Then 4x2 isometric pulls against the pins, can pull for about 5 seconds now with 2 plates, could only do 2 seconds when I started
Didn't do my strength bench cos I got volume bench tmrw .... hopefully
so I'll do it on deadlift day.retired from powerlifting, retired from the misc

I think there must be some rule about this written down somewhere, which is a shame. Let's find out where that stupid paper is and burn it, so there can be more hot guys per square foot at every gym. You know, for the good of the world.
And I have no criticism of how you are dividing up your strength training vs cardio efforts of late lol. That is literally the only cardio worth doing anyway

Volume bench done
Although I was pretty weak and dropped a rep or 2 on most sets.
3x10 40,45,51 bench
3x10 cgbp chains 40kg, I did a creative thing with the chains to make it bit more challenging this week
Also the handyman in work said he got more chains for me <3
Paul the staff solved my chains carrying problem. He said why don't you just padlock them round the DB stand? Duh!!!! I can't believe I never thought of that! Lol. So I can leave them now phew
DB press 3x8 , 17.5kgs
A sweaty out of breath mess after the volume as usual. Man I'm unfit...
Rows my lats were hurting a little after leg day must be my skiving I guess
But done my DB rows 3x6 32.5
Supported rows were tough and I didn't have full ROM on some reps at 50kg, took 2.5 off for last set
BB rows just did 55kg 3x8
Killed me
Reverse fly's then 3x5 dips with 5kg missed last rep AGAIN
Weighed on the gym scale have lost 2or3 lb in 2 weeks obs from loads of walking so that's not good, time to bake some cheesecakeretired from powerlifting, retired from the misc

In my old gym there were bare hot guys, it was great! but this one they're all old or skinny students meh
Also the guy can only be hot if he actually lifts and there's a few hot ones here that don't imoretired from powerlifting, retired from the misc

Lost 5lb now back to 69kg. Idk why really guess just too busy to eat enough
So trained deads first, 115,125,135 triples, last set made me feel weak
Squats did 5x80 5x85 3x90 3x95
Bench did paused strength triples 51,55,57.5
So my powerlifting is on hiatus but life is good am having so much fun with my toyboy summer romance srsretired from powerlifting, retired from the misc

I did go gym again today, I've got time off work for the European football so more time for everything lol
Did my volume bench, just 2x10 40,45, 3x10 cgbp with chains, DB press 8 with 17.5s and 2x6 with 20kgs.
Rows were 2x6 DB row with 35kg. It's easy the weight on my left arm but a struggle with my right
Then 3x8 supported wide grip 45,50
And I done some pullups with my shoulder being ok, strapped my hands on, did 2x4 it was hard, I've gone weak at pullups. Then 4 chins. Then 1 set of bent row cos it's beast gotta do some lol
Dips 2x5 with 5kg and considering I'm more than 2kg lighter it was tough, but I did some strength bench yesterday which isn't ideal. But hey nothings ideal now but just so longs I keep on lifting all will be well
I.meant to do some split squats too but I run out of timeretired from powerlifting, retired from the misc

Yay pull ups and rows! I always strap my hands for pull ups, makes it easier to focus on the actual exercise and not falling into the volcano below your feet. Stupid question incoming - so European football is soccer right? Are they doing championship games right now? Seems like a big thing over there, in the US we instead have competitions like people trying to eat 75 hotdogs in 10 min, srs we are in a sad state of affairs here lulz.
Current PRs:
Bench Press: 200x1
Deads: 315x1
Back Squats: 275x1

Hiya ye football is soccer, we don't really use that word in uk. It's the European championship and it's a big deal for Wales as the last time we qualified was 1958 even before dis ole woman was born lulz...
When I was in USA before I was surprised a lot of ppl didn't know Wales is an actual separate country with its own language s'yn edrych fel hyn
And we're not too keen on the English either, we got drawn against them. The game is Thursday and it'll be total carnage. We will win because we have Gareth bale

I told a guy he should take his terrible shoes off for his squats today
and he did! Don't wanna be that guy :/retired from powerlifting, retired from the misc

Nice lifting Mel! Haha I don't understand your sports over there but my god does everybody in the UK and Australia have a killer accent, srs, HNNGGG! If somebody had an accent like that I'd let them correct my gym-ing all day log. I see the most horrific, cringe-worthy, "oh god they're gonna snap something" squats EVERY time at the commercial gym. Weirdly it's usually two people together lifting like that. I always assume if someone did say something they'd be shot down cause it'd be a 2 against 1 kinda thing. I dunno, I'm the type who speaks to no one in the gym ever, although I have saved a couple guys trapped in the bench press, as for giving advice I figure no one would take it well so meh.
Congrats on the new hot ride!Current PRs:

Lulz idk if I have a hnngg accent, but nice to think I do. I get like that about regional British accents so I know what your saying, the right accent is bare sexy.
Ik what you mean about the pairs of people being the worst form idiots I've noticed that too!
Gym again today yay
Deadlift triples 120,130,140 blimey I failed the first rep on the 140 so weak
Tried again and ground out a double
