What's the general valk strat for Th9 on Th9?

You could jump in MFC real quick and look at my last 2 war hits Moe, you know your welcome.

1 golem + cc golem
18-19 valks
8-9 wiz
Maybe wb if needed
3 heal one jump + poisons
or if a hound is in CC ill use 3 heal 4 eq and open it up.

I normally attack right at AQ, be sure to funnel cause valks are fast and will go around. Lead your heals on valks or heal on walls when they are hemmed up taking damage

I did like them at TH8 - I am updating my goblins now that I can at TH9, nice bump going 5-6, thinking of using Golems/Goblins for farming.

So right now the following troops are "maxed" for TH9:
Giants
Wall Breakers (no upgrade)
Wiz (no upgrade)
PEKKA (no upgrade)
Rage (no upgrade)
Jump

Hogs
Golems

Like I said, I have goblins in the lab now - should I go Witch to 2 or Valks to 3 next? Keep in mind, Valks have two upgrades at TH9.

I was leaning witch as she gets a 20% increase in DPS and 33% in HP plus an additional 2 summoned units to the max.
Valk to 3 gets 12% to DPS and 11% to HP - though with her splash damage the DPS could be considered a little higher.

Are you using the Valks to attack the AQ or the Golem/Wiz and let the Valks go when she's down?

Also when are you deploying the Royals?

I deploy royals and valks at almost the same time, If i can get aq to lock on golem then thats great, but i use the bk hopefully on her, but alot of the time the valks being so quick just tear her up

I only used witches with goho to trip bombs.... now I dont use them anymore. I would valk/valk

Just came off a war where I 3 stard their 1 and 2 (only 10 v 10), but i feel like I am getting better at these TH9 attacks...and actually their #2 was a rushed TH10.

I am not sure if this is a good strategy, but since I am happy with where I am at matchup wise in war I stopped upgrading defenses and am going to focus on troop upgrades, walls, and heros for awhile. I am going to try and wait to get them to 20/20 before I go back to finishing defenses. I basically have all defenses done except for 1 air d, all wiz towers, x-bows are both level 1, 2 archer towers left to upgrade and each of the air sweepers.

After this next war I will be starting my king to level 14 and my queen is at 10.

Does this seem like a good plan?

I got a one week ban on SC forums for "name calling". It doesn't say anything specific, I can't even remember name calling except calling somebody a whiner. I guess I should know people who whine about the game endlessly will hit the report button for hurt feelings? lol.

I stopped playing pretty much after the TH11 update. Loot was garbage and I was only getting matched with max TH10s. Upgraded to TH11 then pretty much quit for good. Has it gotten any better? I looked at the new update and they basically nerfed everything again and buffed defenses notsherrifsrs

Well, without raiding hardcore, and without boosting, I paid for lvl7 goblins, the bowler dark barracks, and two level 4 infernos in a 48 hour window. That sure seems like good loot to me.

LMAO they just nerfed valks again. That last update dropped lvl4 valk hit points from 1,100 down to 1,000...this morning they dropped them down to 900.

So now the TH9 valks have 200 fewer hit points than they did previously.

Between Boom Beaches Crab is back and my gains in COC. Much progress going on.

I open a no clan war clan. If you want to just build your fort and get CC troops. Those not looking to baby sit your account daily with Clan Wars. Set a low trophy bar as I don't really care who joins. I could have been in Titan a long time ago. But with never no CC troops and major defenses in rebuild. Hard to defend off other max attacks. My Eagle just came back up and is done. Now a Inferno Tower is down. These two week upgrade issues....

I got Titan 1 just for the hell of it one day before the last update came out. Perfect timing...chilling in Champs III now where most attacks are weak crap...winning half my defenses with both inferno towers upgrading lol

When I get attacked 9 times out of 10 all my Heros are heal resting. Plus the Defense items upgrading and never have CC troops. Almost no chance in hell, lol.

I sit right under Titan 3 always.

I see the Healers still don't trigger balloons. So I'm still getting hit with that AQ Healer attack a lot. Something the Asians players use mostly.

Didn't they just make healers not trip traps within the last year? I seem to recall that update - didn't impact me at the time, but I think they should - would at least add an element of challenge to Queen walking.

That's weird cause I am coming up on my one year anniversary of playing - I remember because a friend of mine was in town during the tournament, and that is how I became aware of the game. I didn't start playing until April or May of last year - is there anywhere you can check what your start date was?

One year, and currently mid-way through TH9.

I know what my start date was, it was January last year. Additionally, if you connected it to your Google account right away (or I think gamecenter for Apple?) you can check your achievement for bigger coffers gold storage level 2, that is done right after you start the account. I also know I was a TH8 in early March, because I remember clearly being TH8 and getting my first level 5 troops (donation minimum for us at the time) when I was on vacation for a trip we took in early March.

The wiki has also never been wrong about anything that I know of.
