So it took me a couple days to drop the water weight from diet break/vaycay and since then I've been slacking at tracking. It's been raining and snowing all seek so my NEAT/steps were down as well, which is reflected in my steady weight of 195.1 each morning the last two days. I have a week of stay-cation coming up so if I can keep from eating the world, my steps should be good.

1.5 pounds down this week. OMAD is possibly the greatest cutting program ever. Right now experimenting with my macro split. I lowered carbs for a bit and upped my fat and felt sluggish and slow. The other day 200 carbs and lowered fat and felt fantastic. So trying to keep fat under 50 grams grams. Tough when eating one meal and also sticking with whole foods. The struggle is real to reach 1500 calories.

Changing up my fasting schedule a bit in hopes of better lifting performance. Having a meal the night before, lifting within 2 hours of waking, meal after. I lift Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So there will be longer 30-35 hour fasts on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Aiming for a 1400-1500 a week calorie average so my meals will need to be a little larger.
My finisher dish of greek yogurt, grapes, strawberry cream whey, and grape nuts.

So my week of changing up my fasting schedule was a success. Eating before bed has had a huge positive influence for my lifting and the extended fasting times have been pretty easy. No real hunger at all. I ended up with a shade over 1200 calories for an average and haven't felt my energy dip nor have I felt deprived. Such a bonus to have large satisfying meals and be in a large deficit. Now the long fast begins. I won't eat again until late Sunday night.
Lifting was OHP plus accessories. First course was a shake with coconut milk two scoops of protein, and a frozen banana. second course was my second favorite thing to eat. 1554 calories for both courses and all of them satisfying.

So its been six weeks with the fasting protocol. I am about 15 pounds down. Last weigh in was 148.8! Really the only down side is trying to get the calories in. Hows that for a cutting plan.
My one meal tonight after a 33 hour fast. It was 1781 calories.

^ ^ ^ that looks absolutely amazing
funny thing you mentioned a long fast ... I am feeling a bit bloated and was considering going on a fast like that, to clear things up a bit
did you have that meal ^ ^ ^ at the end of you 33 hour fast?
wouldn't that be a bit heavy on the tummy?
it would for me, but we're all different, so yeah...
15 pounds down is amazing!
good job woman!

^^
It was fabulous. I was craving beef so bad. Cant beat a good 80/20 grind of ground chuck.
I would recommend a extended fast for clearing up bloat due to water or digestion issues. It has helped me so much in both of those areas. Just make sure you keep your electrolytes up or you will feel like crap.
And the meal was after the long fast. I like to get my calories up in the 1800-2000 range after a long fast. It was a bit heavy on the old gut due to the high fat but not too bad. The digestion process kind of sluggish after a while so I take a shot of apple cider vinegar in water to get the juices in there flowing before a meal. That is if I remember.
Ty NoCarbs its been a while since I have had this kind of momentum. I finally found a way to eat which suits me. There is no food restrictions other than calories and I can enjoy large satisfying meals. It been over six weeks since I have started fasting and I am loving it.
Hope all is well with you. I miss you around here but I know you are a busy guy.*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.

I do a form of IF. Started off with OMAD or one meal a day so 23-26 hour fasts. Recently I have been experimenting with a longer fast like 30-56 hours. a couple of times a week. Right now incorporating OMAD with a long 45-50 hour fast on the week-end. I get the best of both worlds this way. So easy to maintain deficit this way.
Drop in here at anytime guy. I check back in this log often. Right now i think i am the only one*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.
