Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this about your mom Sounds like you both have been through a lot lately. Sending well wishes to you both.
Check out colloidal silver. You may already know about it. I don't know how I had never heard about it :/ I found out about it when my dog had cancer and have been trying to talk my MIL into taking it (she was just diagnosed with rectal cancer) to help boost her immune system. She just went through radiation and started chemo yesterday. It has so many great health benefits. It treats infections, skin issues, cold/flu, cancer and many others. I started taking a small amount daily as maintenance. It can be expensive to purchase the real stuff, but it is really easy to make yourself. I don't know what the dosage would be for cancer. Something like 8oz a couple times a day maybe? Obviously I'm not saying it is going to cure her cancer or anything. It just might give her some relief. Ignore anything that says you will turn blue if you drink it. That happens if you take silver chloride or nitrate or something else, not colloidal silver. I feel like the dad in My Big Fat Greek Wedding using the windex for everything. If anyone has anything wrong, I spray them with my bottle of colloidal silver There is a FB group called Colloidal Silver Beginners. Tons of great info there. There is another one called Colloidal Silver, but the admin guy is kind of a jacka$$.
I totally agree about getting your butt to the doctor!! My MIL put this off for months before she finally went to the doctor. I have no room to talk though. I've been dealing with something on and off for almost a year now :/ Need to get my arse to the doctor soon.
Sending hugs your wayMy journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159386641
2018 goals:
Lift more than I did in 2017, which won't be hard because I haven't lifted much since March 2017
Build back the muscle I lost while I went through a "I hate lifting" phase
Love lifting again

Iagd, so sorry to hear that the chemo didn't work.
I went through a similar thing a year ago with my father in law. Once they stopped giving him chemo, I knew it was a turning point but I also couldn't really process what it meant. We got very lucky, in that once he stopped chemo he had a little bit more energy for a few months, and we got to enjoy some time together. But then he had to stop dialysis, which was an even bigger turning point.
Even when you know it's coming, you can never believe that it's actually coming. It's always going to be the next day.
Lots of love to you.If you like to deadlift, we'll get along great!
