Me being born in the 90s I'm just curious.
What do you gents miss the most about the 80s? Any specific random things/memories you remember?

1. Music
2. Fashion
3. Action Movies (Sly/Arnie etc)
4. No ****ty health & safety rules! We had fun without the constant rules and warnings.
5. Lamborghini Countach (although it's apparently horrible to drive and even worse to reverse park)
6. Don't forget the bullworker! This is how Lee Haney got all his muscles!
Accept difference. Not indifference.

I tell it like it is, if you want smoke blown up your ass or something sugar coated. I suggest you get a Hooker and a powdered donut.

I was just a kid so...
Snow racing - Had more snow around here back then. Daring each other to do increasingly dangerous jumps or if you were a badass, go down the
local "slope of death" and "slope of broken bones."
"Palla" or stealing fruit/apples and stuff from peoples' backyards and being chased by old angry get off my lawn guys. One friend (a bit special)
would get so scared he could cry while running for his life. A sight to be seen.
Commodore 64 gaming , discovering boobs, certain movie premieres - ghost busters and back to the future...and more.

Pong.
Songs written by the people that sing them.
Pants worn on the waist, not halfway down the butt.
Movies. An 80's movie is a special thing.Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

There is not one thing I could add to the list. All of the above, except Nanette Stravinski and Kelly K. I am sorry to say, I did not know them. Could be my loss, I will never know......

I've seen lots of old print ads advertising how not to be skinny so that big guys won't kick sand in your face. I've never seen one where the goal was to be the big guy doing that! So weird.
That's not accurate. I was born in the 70's and we were the first to experience video games. The home version of Pong was 70's.There will come a day when I tire of listening to 80's music. That day is not today.

Mall arcades. The social interaction of arcades, roller rinks, malls etc. that was such a part of my youth is something my kids are missing out on I think. Maybe I am just old.
+ I do have a refurbished Galaga arcade cabinet I bought many years ago. My wife hates it, my kids laugh at it, but I still play it from time to time. Yes I am old.

That music is iconic!
I've got it on my phone.

The original Nintendo coming out. Having to blow on the games. My Haro bicycle. Mash (terrible for a kid) having to look through a phone book for things and my moms little book for the numbers for grandparents and cousins. Sat morning cartoons. Ground round penny per pound meals. Garbage pail kid cards
