Always looked funny in hats but I might want to try again. Anyone know where I can find one like this here but much cheaper?

Don't care much about quality as long as it looks very similar. Must be cheap because I won't know if I'll look good in it.

    Hi guys,

Just need some advice here. When it comes to clothes I don't like online shopping. I live in Canada and was wondering what some good stores would be for good quality but relatively well priced casual clothes. I really enjoy going to Moore's but when it comes for dressing down I have no idea where to go. Banana Republic seems like a good fit and Jack & Jones is a little too snug on me. Any advice?

Can anyone recommend a white shoe for me to wear to work? Business-casual environment, jeans allowed in the office on Fridays. I do appointments in schools and in the home (work with foster kids). Pretty much just can't be an athletic shoe. Comfort is important I suppose. I was looking at these Allen Edmonds, but I'm having 2nd thoughts.

Went for an Expedition Scout in the end, preferred the classic look to it. Maybe the start of a watch collection, who knows.

EDIT: Just bagged this jacket too, my black one has been sat for ages because the sleeves are way too short, I'm hoping this XL will fit OK. This is the winter "wadded" one, so it will be nice to wear for our chit weather.

Brahs asking about the Gustin jacket sizing, I'm 6ft1 172lb (brb cyclist) and that's a large. If you're after a really sporty slim look and you have big shoulders then you're phucked, I wear a med/large in basically any brand depending on how form fitting I want to go and the shoulders in this thing fit me with the tiniest bit of space. The waist could probably be tapered a lot more but I strongly doubt I'll ever wear it buttoned/zipped anyway as i bought it to go with boots/jeans. Sizing down would mean it was way too small for my shoulders.

The fit is almost identical to Bonobos button downs just with a little extra around the waist as part of the design, will probs order one of the waxed brown ones for ****s and giggles too. It will probs replace my old mans bundeswehr jacket that i wear occasionally as that's getting on a bit now (1960ish) and i dont want to ruin it.

Note: it's not as big as it looks there, my arm being up is just pulling it out.

That does look pretty massive, a bit disappointing really. Even as a fairly fat guy (~18% bf) who lifts most clothes need to be extra slim in order to fit across my shoulders and not look like a parachute in the midsection.

So far finding a tailor in my local area has been fruitless. There is one high end gentleman's outfitters but he only does alterations on clothes he sells wtf.

Honestly, i feel like the overwhelming majority of the time the slim fit we're all chasing doesnt really exist, its just bullchit perpetuated by model shots with butterfly clips etc out of view.

I really enjoy going to Moore's but when it comes for dressing down I have no idea where to go. Banana Republic seems like a good fit and Jack & Jones is a little too snug on me. Any advice?
Club Monaco when their stuff is on sale - have some great casual sweaters from there but would never pay full price.

Can confirm their dress shirts are amazing for a slimmer fit - ordered 3 during their boxing day sale and was blown away by the quality for the money.

Thanks for the recommendation on outclass - had never heard of them.

Thanks for the follow up man. Looks like you have the field jacket. You can pull it off. But I see what you mean about the waist. I actually ordered the trucker jacket instead, for that reason. Hoping it fits like this:

Also, took some of your guys advice & picked up Iron Rangers on eBay for my first pair of boots that I'm actually keeping. I had AE daltons, but they were way too dressy.

Anyhow, I really like these. I'm a size 13, but I sized down to a 12 and they feel fantastic.
