    Just a PSA to everyone doing this comp. Make sure you warm-up properly. I was doing some heavy doubles today and rushed my warm up. I pulled something in my chest 2nd set, probably wont bench for a few days to be safe.

    you can weigh in at 132LBS before getting bumped up to 148. If you weigh 168lbs you're in the 181 class.

    Spotter left by the time I realized I realized the pause sucked so I had to do my own liftoff. Angle still is terrible, couldn't figure out a decent one, and also realize now why singlets are mandatory in competition. Figured this angle was better than side view though because from the side no one can tell if I even touch my chest.

    The 132 Class is everything under 132 pounds. The 148 Class would be every weight between 133-148. Weight classes are usually listed by the max bodyweight you are allowed to be for that class. The only exception is the 276+ Class, obviously.

    Benching was solid last week. I only had 3 sets of 5 reps, ramping up to 280x5. It was fairly easy. This week I am supposed to end my working sets with three heavy singles at 315, 325, and 335. Going to see how it goes. I think I am on that mental block time

    Keep building the overhead presses. Next competition is going to be that lift. I am not using them in my training right now at all... but that's temporary.
