I love D-Jax, but he's the kind of guy that would be complaining about his numbers at 8-1 even if he'd doubled Torrey's output thus far. For the mild bump he'd give our offense, I don't think he would've been worth the headache.

I wanted Terrell Pryor so bad this offseason. Now I'm glad I don't because he is playing like crap. Torrey Smith ain't doing much but he seems to be a positive guy in the locker room.

He talks a lot of chit to the other team but I don't really remember him being a cancer to the eagles. He would let the QB know if he was open and they'd miss him or give them **** if they badly missed him on a throw, but I don't recall him being the T.O. type "demanding" the ball. He wasn't a possession receiver that was going to get a ton of targets every game and I think he knew that.

A lot of stories were made up about him to justify Chip letting him go for nothing.

This. I know he isn’t worth the money he is asking, but being able to light the field on fire and keeping the secondary on check would completely wreck teams. We have a great core of receivers now and I wouldn’t want to mess that up, but if we could’ve got him for cheap during the off-season, I think him and Wentz would make a hell of a combination.

Crazy that in two years we've gone from this sketchy and enraging Chip regime to Superbowl favorites. Pinch me brahs

Was listening to this interview of Belicick. They got on the topic of trades and he mentioned 3 trades that he thought were lopsided. One was the Ajayi trade and another was the Bradford trade.

yes, you are getting old. I remember that year pretty easily because I was in Iraq for my first tour and the Stilerz were stomping. When we beat the Eagles and Pats back-to-back during the season, I thought we were going places. Unfortunately, Ben $hit the bed in the postseason that year and we went bye-bye.

That said, Wentz is the real deal. I just wish he'd throw the damn ball to Alshon Jeffery more dammit!

I've seen Wentz miss Alshon for about 3-4 TD's on this season already.

For some reason, he sails a lot of passes to Jeffery, maybe overestimating his radius or something. But it's probably a timing issue, he's pretty much always on target to Ertz and Agholor.

But 2 TD's this week and chemistry seems to be picking up on that move he put on talib, that was perfect.

That season is still fresh in my mind. I was a freshman in HS and that was actually my first year as an Eagles/NFL fan. I never watched football before that point. My teachers were all NE fans so I got a lot of shiit after the SB

Just realized the dude is only 25 and a year younger than Fletch.

imagine being a QB in the NFC East for the next few years.

Eli Manning probably just considered retirement when he heard the news and there's no way Kirk Cousins is staying

    In Howie we trust.

Signed Alshon(at a discount), got P-Rob off the streets, signed blount(paying him almost nothing), got ajayi and barnett from sam bradford, got production from UDFA Clement, drafted mack hollins, drafted rasul douglas, and got jernigan for free. all of them are producing except darby and sidney who got hurt, but i don't think JMatt is doing too well in buffalo either

It was weird watching college ball and for the first time seeing younger dudes, even weirder now seeing it in the pros. The two superstars of the teams I follow are 24 (Wentz) and 20 (Auston Matthews).

Yeah, it's pretty weird, but feels good having young talent mang.

Went to NDSU, but I was never a big fan of CFB, usually just got hammered and pass out by the time the game started, most of them were blowouts.

Saw Wentz in dining center all the time, and I saw him hanging around the sportsbar in DT fargo a few times..

Now he's has a chance to legitimately become the NFL MVP playing for my favorite team since I was kid. Nuts...

think there's another NDSU brah here somewhere too
